Hi I was thinking of a game for a baby shower and thought of Name that movie quote but since it was for a baby shower I thought it needed to have the word baby in it like the classic "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" I have a few but I need more. Thank you
Oh also how should we play it I will have prizes but I don't really want people just sitting there filling out papers.
Hmm. I've never had a baby shower and only been to one in my life, so this sounds really fun. I'm "old" so the first line I think of from a movie is "Nobody puts baby in a corner" (Dirty Dancing).
As a title of a movie, growing up, my friends and I LOVED Adventures in Babysitting---we STILL like watching the movie even though we've got it memorized by now.
Hi S., sounds like a great game. The two quotes I thought of were from Austin Powers: 'Yeah, Baby, Yeah!!' and from The Terminator: 'Hasta La Vista, Baby!!'. Another game idea along this line is to name songs or movies with 'baby' in the title. This might just be a little easier, because I had to rack my brain just to remember the two quotes I gave you :). That sounds like fun, I did something similar to this at several baby showers I have thrown, I did it with a CD though. I burned a CD of several "baby" songs, and the first person to correctly call out the title and/or artist (as a tie breaker) received a point. Songe like Baby Love by the Supremes, Baby Baby by Buddy Holly, Be My Baby by The Ronnettes and so on were great. I also added in Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears and a lot more. It was fun and the Mom to be was able to keep the CD of music to play for baby!
I just went to a couples shower and the biggest hit and fun was to take a clothes line and a basket of baby clothes and have the person to have a baby doll in one hand and a cell phone for someone to call them while taking care of baby and laundry taking the call.And be timed along with seeing how many peices of laundry was done.With a conversation.
