Mommy and Me Classes- South Bay

Check into Emerson Adult School in Westchester. It is an adult school through the LAUnified school district, but they offer GREAT parenting classes. I know the spring semester started at the beginning of February and they have just added another baby class, so there might still be openings. The parenting classes do have a lottery system for getting in in the fall, but you might want to check this one out. The school is on Emerson off of Manchester Blvd. ###-###-####, call the main office for more information.

Also, check out the South Bay Adult School. www.southbayadult.org for their spring registration. They also have their parenting classes which are excellent too.

Oh, you might also want to check out the el segundo rec and parks. I know they have some great classes, so there might be something to get you through to some other class that you really want.

I do not have any experience with mommy and me classes, although I know moms that go to the South Bay Adult School and have positive things to say about it. I know there are mommy and me groups in Manhattan as well. If you're just looking for some mom and baby companionship, you should check out the MOMS Club of El Segundo...a great non-profit group offering stay at home moms support, planning get togethers for the babies/kids, etc. Lmk if you're interested and I will give you more info.

south bay adult school - the best! they allow you to start at any time - and they have summer sessions too. i have made the best friends of my son's childhood (both for him and for me!) starting there when he was 4 months old and he is now almost 7. very inexpensive too.

I think you can enroll in the SB Adult school classes even after they've started. We came in to the semester late and they pro-rated our rate.

Even if you think the southbay classes are full online. Make sure you call. They try to make room for you if they can. And that's not hard for mommy and me classes because you are with him. It becomes a issue whn it is a drop off class.
