Why did Gadhafi, Bin Laden, Castro and Iatollah "Killmany" (sp? LOL) live so long and Walt Disney and Steve Jobs die so young?

Where is the justice?

I agree with a friend of mine -I hope that on the "other side" there are plenty of people from the Pan Am flight he had blown to bits waiting with pitchforks, pipes and other torturous implements with plenty of time on their hands...

Waste of space -glad he's finally toast. It should have happened a long time ago.

Don't know who did it...but nothing is really confirmed yet...there were claims he was captured but no O. is claiming to killing him yet...I'm sure there will be several....

As to what it will do to the changing climate of the world? I don't know. For us? I think it will mean our troops can come home from a war they never should have been in in the first place...

So happy if it's done!! The bad guys are getting theirs!

My second thought is that even though I was SUPER irritated when we got involved over there, even though it was a multi-national force going in to Libya, etc etc, it's really REALLY nice to finally have American foreign policy get some good results. Bin Laden, check. Moammar Gadhafi, check. Anwar al-Awlaki, check. NEXT!!!

Whatever it takes to get these ''DAD GUYS'' we have been trying to get for decades out, I guess is the way it had to be done.

am I happy he was killed....kinda but I hate to admit it. Cause that is not me.

It is hard to choose the outcome for someone like him...Of course seeing him die...suffer like his victims and families have done would be amazing. but does it make those who killed him any better then he was?? It is a moral question I struggle with...and didnt realize I would struggle with until i found myself rejoicing that we got Bin Laden.

Good news for the People of Libya. Good news for the world. But I know there is going to be someone just as sick that will try and take his place...and that is now what we have to worry about.

Who killed him? I can't read the entire thing, my son is in my face...

Our world stage is changing daily...and I will not miss this major player. It is good he is gone after his looong reign, Saddam Hussein,Bin Laden....who is next??

My first thought was holey moley they got him. My second thought was thank goodness. My third thought is how much more this will rile up the masses in that part of the world.

We are venturing into a world wide unstable uprising that includes many issues and grievances. I don't know how peace will ever reign again..oh yes I do...but that would get us venturing into a religious thread.

I hate to celebrate death... yet when people like this are killed, I can't help but have a positive reaction. I like to think of it as I am celebrating the lives that will be spared/improved, rather then a death.

Aw, heck, who am I kidding? YAY! The prick is dead! I hope he burns in Hell for the suffering he brought to so many people.

I hope Libya can now move forward to a prosperous and happy future.
I knew someone who came from there years ago and I hope he and his family can go home now and be reunited with long lost friends and family members.
It's an exciting time for a people who've waited a long time for the brutal dictatorship to come to an end.

Did anyone read/see the video and the lady who was his son's nanny? (Old now; back when the rebels were looting the palace). I hope the son's wife gets killed too. What awful evil people. I still get haunted and angry at the fact that the monster tied the nanny up and poured boiling water on her, just because she protested that they were spanking the child too hard/too much. And then made her continue to work, medically untreated, though her flesh was falling off her. That kind of person, especially being nobody but a rich cow who married well.....being that evil? It brings up thoughts and feelings in me that disturb me, but they're still there. If he's dead, he's not the only O. that needs to go. Keep going, rebels. Continue the manhunt and purging. Please don't forget his daughter in law.
(Although, some of these rebels are not friends to the U.S....keep that in mind).
