So I decided to go with metro PCS. We decided to go with the 45 dollar plan but my question is are there and catches? For example it says the 45$ plan includes.....Local Calling, Long Distance, Voicemail, Text Messaging, text messaging global, picture messaging, web access, mapquest mobile, and aol instant messaging aswell as a couple other features. My question is can I really use any of the features anytime all the time? Well given I am in the service area and such. I have been text messaging locally and global aswell as being on the internet and using yahoo messenger however I am starting to worry about some type of catch in the system and find I get a bill for 1,000$ or something. So again can I use any of the features unlimitedly for real? I would like responses from anyone good or bad and about ANY feature even if it is one that I dont have incase I plan on upgrading later on. Thanks.

As long as you are in the service area all those features are really included and you should never get a bill for more than $50-we love it.

yes you can. It's great! We love it..
After running up a 1300.00 phone bill, we love Metro PCS.
It works for us.

Greetings E.,

As far as I have experienced, no catches.....I had it for my business. It's great as long as you are in the calling area. I have decided to downgrade my Tmobile account and keep the Metro because I do travel out of the area a bit. BTW...single mom of 2 here as well...let's stay in touch!!

Have a great day!
C. :)

My husband says yes it is for real. The difference is the upfront cost of the phone and you have to use a Metro PCS phone, you can't have service with a different phone. Hope that helps.

My metro bill stays the same each month! It's Great!! The only issue I had is that my phone number was long distance for my family to call me from a land line. Even though we were both in Dallas and I got the phone service in Dallas! I called Metro and they said it was because my 214 number was a Frisco only number?? And only Frisco could call me without it being long distance?? I had to pay to get switched to a 214 Dallas number. So now people in Dallas only can call me without long distance but Plano, Mesquite, Garland, Forney, etc will be long distance.

My husband and I have had them for about 2 years now and I text all the time. His phone has more features so he can use all of the aol and yahoo stuff but it will never change your bill ever. You can travel with them but you have to put money on your account and it gets really expensive but you have to set it up so you won't get any unexpected charges.
