Meh

I know you already got responses but I just had to add my two cents!! I absolutely HATE this word!!! My kids (16 & 13) started using it on me when they want to say "maybe" or "whatever." Well, I told them I don't want that used on me because I deserve a WHOLE word!!! I'm worth at least that much!! Now when it accidentally slips out they just quickly say the whole word, apolgogize and then we laugh about it. But I still HATE that word!!!! And don't even get me started on IDK (I don't know)!!!! ha! ha!

I picture a little Jewish woman shrugging with indifferance when I see this. It has enough flem in it to be Yiddish.

Like "eh" or "nah" or "not so much" (holds hand out & tilts back & forth...)

Say "what's up, Doc?" after it, and you'll get the gist. LOL

It means.. so-so, whatev, or no-comment.

Say it in the key of c, monotone, "mehh"

I never had someone tell it to M. directly but I hate that word. It sounds so indifferent (just like it should mean) I like 'whatever' better.:)

My kids use it like "so so" or "blah" too.
It's a new thing and mostly teens do it. Along with Z added to LOL... and stuff like MAI or MAH for MY ...
