Medical Center of McKinney or Presby Allen?

Hi moms! I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant with my second, and trying to decide whether to deliver at Presby Allen or McKinney. Due to complications with my first, this will be a scheduled c-section. My OB will go to either one, and says it is my choice. What do you ladies recommend? What were your experiences, good or bad, at each hospital? TIA!

What can I do next?

LOVED the nurses at Medical Center McKinney for my repeat C. They were so sweet even pushing me to stay another night in hopes I could finally get rest before going home to a 14 month old......

M.,
I have had two very bad experiences at McKinney but they weren't deliveries. I had a good experience at Presby when I had to have my thyroid surgery.
Hope this helps.

I had my CS at Presby Allen and had a great experience, the rooms are kind of small compared to the birthing suites but most hospitals are like that. I am currently expecting and plan on going to Presby Allen again.

I visited a friend at McKinney the other day and had a HORRIBLE time find a parking spot at the OB nurses at the front desk were not very friendly. The rooms were the same size as Allen. I do not have any personal patient experience with McKinney though.

I've heard bad things about both hospitals. However, i just delieverd my second baby 10 days ago at McKinney. L&D nurses were wonderful! When my daughter was born, she had a low heart rate and stopped breating. She was given oxygen and chest compressions. It seemed as if every nurse was called in. They were all very attentive!
They only bothered me once during the night (compared to several with my previous pregnancy at another hospital). However, i had to return to the hospital to get her PKU infant screening done yesterday. Registration had a completely different last name (Wert vs. Woods...?????) and the wait to get her blood taken took forever! There was noone in line before or after us.

I REFUSE to go to McKinney ER, but I had two really good deliveries there. I've heard horror stories, but I had fabulous nurses and great care during my deliveries. I have a 3 year old and 22 month old so it was fairly recently that I was in there.
