Can anyone suggest a bakery or art director/baker in the Dallas area that can make me a rainbow cake for a little girl's bday party? Colorful breading with white coconut icing all over. Thanks so much!:)

What can I do next?

You can take this recipe and make it into a cake using the baking time on the cake box.

I realize that your asking for "someone" or a "place" to bake this, however being an advid baker myself for personal family & friends, this kind of cake would be easy for "YOU" to do, just buy 2 boxes of white cake mix any brand & the ingredience to mix it with, food coloring for the cake mix &/or icing and a bag of coconut & store bought icing (I usually make my own icing, but store bought is just as good) and hopefully you have 4 round cake pans (you can get them inexpensive at Big Lots, or find them @ Garden Ridge or any grocery store). Read the directions on the cake mix box & go from there. Layer each cake with the icing and mix in the coconut for the outside icing to cover he whole cake. If you plan to make it yourself, you can go online & search for instructions for making a Rainbow cake, homemade is always good! Good luck!

I have the perfect person for you! Her name is Tiffany Dyer and the name of her place is Iced Artistry. Her website is http://icedartistry.blogspot.com.
Tiffany is independant, but has worked in professional bakeries in the past. Her work is phenomenal! I have used her for my daughter's birthday parties the last 2 years in a row, and I'm sure I'll use her for the next party. I was told about her by a friend, and after my daughter's party every Mom wanted to know who did our cake and her info! Her cakes are so moist and taste so good - you can pick from many flavors - same with icing. You basically get to custom design your cake even in terms of shape, and decorations on it. If you look at the cakes on the website, my daughter's first cake is the one that is the green heart shaped cake with Cinderella and her Coach with the little mice and flowers. It was beautiful! The Coach, mice, and flowers were all crafted by Tiffany with fondant. Also, she charges a fraction of the cost of what a bakery would charge. The next year she did an exact replica of a heart shaped guitar my daughter had just gotten for Christmas! It looked exactly like it! To contact Tiffany email her at ____@____.com
