I am looking for some pretend/dress-up clothes for my neice. She wears size 4T. I don't care if they are "real clothes" in smaller sizes or actual dress-up clothes. Just something to have fun and dress up in for play. If anyone has any ideas where I could find them or has some that they would like to get rid of, please let me know.
Thanks,
S.

Lillian Vernon has one and a matching shoe case. I bought both for my niece for Christmas one year. I also bought a little vanity table. She really loves it.

My mom has made MANY dress up clothes for my 3 year old. If you would be interested i can ask her what she would charge. Some of the items she has made include a clown outfit, princess outfits, etc. I can be contacted at ____@____.com

You might want to check at www.freecycle.org. It is a free group thru yahoo which has local chapters and where you can post requests for things. People who have what you are looking for respond to your posts and you can also post items to get rid of. I've gotten rid of a lot of stuff that way and also gotten some great stuff as well.

Hi S.-

My sisters-in-law gave my daughter the best present one year. They took some of their old dresses, skirts, bridesmaid dresses, purses & shoes adn put them in a big rubbermaid bin and gave tehm to her for her birthday. They bought a few things at the store like some fake jewelry & crowns. I think it was for her 4th birthday. She is now 11, but up until last year it was still her favorite thing for her & her friends to do. They took pinking shears and cut the dresses shorter. That way they didn't fray and she wouldn't trip. You can also find these things at garage sale & thrift stores. The nice part is that I would throw them in the washing machine because I woudln't care what happened to them.
