In your opinion, where is the best, inexpensive bakery in either Haverhill or North Andover to get a cake? I have my daughter's baptism coming up next month.

DeFusco and Sons Bakery on Route 125 in North Andover has a very good reputation, but I've never ordered there.
My favorite bakery is in Lawrence. Tripoli's Bakery is sooo good. They did my wedding cake and were very reasonable. They make a fabulous strawberry shortcake, too which would be nice for a Baptism! Good luck!
This might sound strange...but I swear that Market Basket has the BEST cakes!! I get them at the bakery at the Westgate MB off of exit 49. They don't actually bake the cakes there, but they do the decorations on site. I always get people raving about the cakes.

I second the DeFusco's bakery on 125. We have had cakes for both birthdays and baptisms from there. For birthdays they have a "smash cake" for approx $3.50 The cakes are reasonable, and taste good.
We are also partial to Joseph's on 125. They are a little more expensive, but the cakes are worth it - never had a problem with their cakes and always get great reviews. Our whole family goes there.
