Looking for Homeschoolers in S. Arlington/Kennedale/Mansfield

I am in South Grand Prairie and we have a homeschooling group, but it is small and to be honest, none of our mothers would pay for a tutor. We have such a good network of moms that we usually can find someone within our network to help us out if we need to, as homeschoolers are usually on tight budgets being SAHMs with schooling to pay for. I also know that a lot of husbands who sit and work with their kids on math, because well... dads seem to usually be the math brains.

I am not saying that you do not have a market in tutoring in the homeschool sector, it may be that my circle is just this way and others are not. But just incase I would focus on some other areas to market your services too. I have a feeling that even if you do find a few groups close by that you are not going to have many moms who are looking for tutoring.

I hope that I didnt offend you, because I didnt mean to, I just really wanted to be honest about my opinion. Hopefully some other moms on here will have a more positive outlook on this topic! :)

You can try posting an ad on www.craigslist for the dfw area.

CHEA Go to CHEA.com and that stands for Christian Homeschool Educaters of Arlington. It is a nice size, has PE on Thursdays at Lake Arlington Baptist Church and a meeting once a month for the MOMs.
