I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 7 year old. Her reading skills are awesome, but her math skills need improving and I wanted to start teaching her geography and history. I just do not know .where to begin. I looked at some websites, but wanted some advice from parents that know of some great websites of books. Thanks!

So What Happened?

Thanks ladies!
My oldest is very smart. She tested into the school she is in now. I just want to work on her weaker points, like math. And help her to be more well rounded. She loves learning! This gives me a starting point!

We have 4 kids, homeschool and my husband and I work, so we use the computer a lot of time for homework. My 3 year old daughter finished the state standards for Pre-K math and is on to K math. The kids ASK to use IXL for math. My 9 year old is in 5th grade and has found he loves Geometry and Algebra. Here's some ideas. If you want more, feel free to contact me.

http://www.enchantedlearning.com/Home.html - $20/year unlimited worksheets. This is my favorite site.

http://www.ixl.com/ - math and it's $79/year/1st student + $20/year/addt'l

http://www.handwritingworksheets.com/ - FREE worksheets

http://www.homeschoolmath.net/ - FREE worksheets

http://www.spellingcity.com/ - FREE SPELLING GAMES

http://www.learninggamesforkids.com/ - FREE GAMES

http://www.goodtyping.com/default.htm - FREE TYPING (I learned to type in 2nd grade)

www.time4learning.com 20 per month first student and 15 for the additional students.

www.cosmeo.com 9.95 per month. This is by far the best option. You can find your daughters current textbook in their math helper section. They have teachers that pull random problems from every lesson and walk them through them. They have demonstrations of every concept in the books and you can also watch all the textbook problems being done from every textbook in any grade. They also walk them through the workbook exercises, some of them, not all of them :) It goes from 3rd grade to 12th grade.
