Looking for Great Hairstylist in Newtown Area

I am looking for a great hairstylist in the Newtown, PA area. I have been living here for 3 years now, and have tried 5 different hairstylists (giving each of them at least 2 tries before giving up). It seems if I find one I like they do a good job the first time, and then every time after that is a disaster. Maybe my standards are too high. I had the best hairstylist in Boston, who I went to for 15 years...I even kept going to him when I lived in Maine and Virginia. I am willing to pay fancy salon prices if I can find someone worth keeping. I'd like someone who can look at my face shape, tell me what would look good, and would be easy to maintain, and then style it so that I look good everyday (not just they day it gets cut). Is that asking too much? I am willing to travel as far as Doylestown or will even go to Philadelphia. I feel like I need a total makeover after the last horrible haircut.

Hi J..
My friend goes to David Witchell on Main St in Newtown and likes it there. I think their prices are online. I go to Sensational Scissors in Langhorne/Penndel and have been going there for a few years now. A cut is around $30-35. I have curly hair and Maria is the first hairstylist that I've gone to that actually knows how to cut it. Good luck!

I go to Kristina at Sharon Brown's Highly Recommended Salon in Newtown, and so do 2 of my friends on my recommendation, and all of us love her. She also does color for one of said friends and her color looks at least as good as when she used to get it done in Philly.

I am sure you have tried David Witchell in town but I have really enjoyed Nicole there. She is pricey and young but not too young. I like that she doesn't make me too blonde with my highlights. I really think her color technique is great! Good luck!

Have you tried David Witchell's on Main Street in Newtown? I have been going there for 8 years. Colleen does my hair and I have always been very satisfied. Definitely Salon prices, but everything there is just a bit nicer. And their spa is top notch too!
Good luck.

Annie Eichert at Salon Prive ###-###-####)is wonderful. We moved here 5 years ago and I used the Yellow Pages to find someone in Newtown, and I got really lucky. Several of my friends now use her, also. Good luck.

Hi, I live in Holland and I've been going to Elite Concepts in Holland for a pretty long time now. My hairdresser is Heather and she is great! I get cuts, color and highlights and I've always been happy. Their phone number is ###-###-####.
