I'm looking for a new stylist in the area that does great highlights/lowlights and cuts for a reasonable price. I've been going to the same person for 6 years but I'm finding it harder to get into her because of our schedules, she is always booked on Sat. and doesn't work Sun. I have a 10 month old and 3 yr old so I need someone that can do my hair in the evening or weekends. I appreciate any recommendations!
I decided to try L'Image Salon at Park and Preston, because it was pretty close and the same price I was paying before for highlight/lowlight and cut ($130). I have to say I had a great experience, my stylist was Andrea and was awesome. I will definitely be going back. Thanks for all the great responses!
Hi, I use Nick ____@____.com is at the Salon Suites by Willowbend. Always gets you in at the time you need and he works all the time. Plus he does a great job with reasonable prices.
Wow, if I were a hairstylist, I would be offended to be classified as "many doing drugs".
L'Image at Park/Preston is a great place to get your hair done. Very quality oriented, top notch staff and owners.
You can't go wrong with any of the stylists at that location.

I love my stylist! Her name is Marta Guthrie, ###-###-####. She is located at Marsh and Frankford (just off the Marsh/George Bush exit). I think she works 2 nights a week.
Although I don't do highlights, I can tell you she's great. I've been going to her for about 15 years. She's in business for herself, so each time she moves, she tells you where she's going. (For so many years, I'd find someone I liked and then they'd just leave and not tell you! But not Marta!)
She doesn't do drugs either. I say this because so many hairdressers do, and that's why you don't get consistent results.
Please tell her "W. with the short gray hair" referred you.
Look on this website for Hair Creations by Collette. I've been going to her for almost 10 years and she is wonderful. She gives discounts for Mama Source members and she is a mom herself so she will work with you on schedules.

I go to the paul mitchell partner school on midway. I love it they are open late tues-wed-thurs and early sat so it works for me. I pick a senior student and have always been pleased with my hair, only trade off is they are a bit slower so it may take an hour and half to wash an flat iron but for a price of $20 i dont mind! good luck, and I love Korie Brunette her name tells me she is perfect for coloring and Amy Wallace has done wonderful coloring on my family before.
