Looking for Eau De Parfum for a 13 Year Old Girl

My daughter has a "fancy" perfume for special occasions and her every day eau de Parfum. She is such a lady =0)
She just finish her every day perfume so I offered to buy it for her but she wants to try a different one because this one doesn't last and it was to mild. It was a coconut scent, it was soft and it barely lasted a few hours.
I personally don't like sweat smells scents, I rather earthy/woody ones so any time we go perfume shopping for her she doesn't like any of my suggestions.
My only problem is that she has pick in the past some eau da perfum that are too strong or too sweat and she had to be very careful to don't put much ( I did teach her the trick of spray it on the air and just walk pass it) so she doesn't get in trouble at school or bather her classmates and teachers...or me in the drive to school, lol.
Can you recommend any sweat smell, that is not too strong but it last?
In the past she has liked coconut, cotton candy, flowers, smells.
Thanks.

What can I do next?

I'm not a big perfume person. I use V.'s Secret Pink. It's not overpowering, but it is an actual perfume so it lasts longer than Bath & Body Works sprays. But I did notice that Bath & Body Works does make more of a perfume now and not a body spray, but I haven't tried them.

Ok I am not a grammarian, but I laughed at the typo of SWEAT vs. SWEET :) LOL!
well, now that I get it, I would recommend Demeter brand fragrances. They carry them at ulta and they have a wide variety of fragrances. some are more traditional, some are a bit crazy, but good (like tomato or gin & tonic - which I personally wore for a long time because it smelled more like lime and very clean).
With that said, Sephora and Ulta are great places to go and 'test' fragrances.
sounds like a girl's day is in the works:)

Do you have a Whole Foods near you? If so they have these solid perfumes that come in a small tin container (they may also have a spray version also) that smell wonderful. I am very sensitive to most perfumes and the only scents that I like are ones that I can recognize as coming from nature (not artificial). This particular brand has scents such as gardenia, mexican chocolate, blood orange and some other combinations that I can't remember right now. You'll find the perfumes where they sell the scented candles.

Good luck on your perfume search.

My daughters love Bath and Body works lotions. I have not taken them in the store yet to pick out their own stuff though they have gotten the little bottles in stockings and Easter baskets. I know that we will be there for at least an hour when we do go.

How about the body splashes/sprays at places like Bath and Body Works? I don't know if they still have them, but there was also their American Girl collection of perfumes, bath products, skin creams, etc.

I agree, try Bath and Body works-the splash won't last long, but is much lighter than a perfume. Recently Sephora started carrying a Hello Kitty perfume that is very nice and didn't smell cheap. Also Victoria's Secret has a bunch of sweet but not overpowering fragrances-I would check out the Dream Angles line.

I second all the Victoria Secret suggestions. Hollister also sells lots of awesome body sprays as well as a great perfume called Sadie (I think), the top of the bottle is a pink hibsicus. I have a 14 year and that's what she started with and still wears.

My 12 year old niece enjoys Bath and Body Works. I think we spent all day in there recently, while she picked out perfume! It's great, because they have the "body spray" and actual perfume. They have great deals, and she was able to get matching shower gel and lotion.

Calgon makes a line of scents. Sold at WalMart and grocery stores. They make body wash, lotion and body spray. When you layer that way, it lasts longer but isnt overpowering. I buy the Hawaiian Ginger. It smells clean and crisp and a little floral. It's $4 a bottle and you really dont have to worry about overdoing it.

Kiss her by Kiss. Yes, Kiss the band. It's this really great mix of sweet and woods-y smell. I LOVE IT!!! And it's not that strong, you usually have to sit pretty close to smell it.

I was just in Bath and Body Works yesterday, and tried the new Country Chic spray - ended up buying it for my daughter - it is very light and spring-y. Maybe your daughter would like it too :)
