My daughter is currently 17 mnths old. Because of medical problems, I was advised by her pediatrician to stay home with her for atleast her 1st 2 years. I find myself missing work. I tried online to see what is available but was scammed by my resent investment. I am not looking to start a new business but data entry is fine with me. Being that my daughter was born 3 & 1/2 mnths early and at the birth weight of 13 ounces, I cherish being able to stay home with her but at this point an extra income could come in handy.

Although you said you are not wanting to start a new business I just thought I would tell you how well what I do fits in with my life as well as many other home based business'. I stared just by using products and then telling others. I have my business in the list here on Mama Source with the web site. You can look...even try products and if you like them just tell others. I am a stay at home mom of 11 and we home school so my time is limited but I do well. I started simply be telling others what I liked so I could pay for my own products o help with the budget. I know you may not be interested but I felt led to share. Take it for what it is worth to you.

Have you tried paid blogging? Here is a link to my blog http://adorough.blogspot.com/ There is an icon on the side for a paid blogging site that I love to use. I also blog through two other sites, blogitive and blogsvertise. In a good month, I can make as much as $400 between all my paid posts.
In addition to the paid blogging, there are also links at the bottom of my blog for sites that I have tried that truly pay for completing online surveys. My latest survey paid me $50 for recording all the snacks I ate for two weeks. Most of the surveys pay less, but they do add up. Some also pay in gift certificates instead of cash or checks, but the certificates can come in handy for purchasing birthday or Christmas presents, etc.

BTW- If anything asks for you to pay to start, I'd avoid it. While some business opportunities, like Avon, Mary Kay, Creative Memories, etc have start-up costs and are valid, it may take a while for those to start bringing in a profit, especially if you are limited as to when you can make your sales.
