I take my little boy to St. Clair Pediatrics in Swansea, which is right down the road from Shiloh, we see Dr. Jill Johnston. I really like her so far we just recently moved here also and these doctors were recommended to me. I know there are also several doctors in Belleville too. Good luck

Hi E. - and welcome to the area! A friend recommended our pediatrician and we've really liked him so far. Our only daughter is just one year old, so we don't have tons of experience, though! We see Dr. David Norman - his office is inside a wing of Memorial Hospital, and both he and his staff have been very friendly and they are almost always running on time - or just a tad behind. We've called the after-hours number a few times and they always return our call within 5 mintues and are so patient and kind with us. I know they also take many different types of insurance and have reasonable rates also.

E.-

I use St. Clair Pediatrics (in Benchmark Plaza) in Swansea. The website is: http://www.stclairpediatrics.com/. My daughter's primary ped for the first year was Dr. Poincirolli (male) however there are two other doctors (Garrison and Johnston). My daughter has seen Johnston 1x (female) and Garrison 3x (male). I have been happy with the care and treatment each time. Whenever I call with a question, a nurse gets back to me that day (as long as I call before 5 pm) and I have had no problems scheduling appointments. Now that being said, I work with a woman who has had several of her son's appts rescheduled for various reasons - therefore she left the practice. However, I like it there and plan on staying!
