arbonne has all wonderful products....but the cobigelow line at bath & body works is also good. And they have a 100% satsifaction guarantee
Help! I have awful combination skin on my face. It's intensified in the winter ofcourse and I'm struggling to get it under control. Does anyone know any good face moisturizers that wont' make my oily parts of my face break out in the meantime? My forehead and chin break out with pimples and are oily but the rest of my face is really dry. Any suggestions I'd love to hear!
I thought I'd take a minute and post here since I'm still recieving advice on this one! Thank you to all who had suggestions for me! I ended up going with the Mary Kay lotion so many ppl told me about and its great! I absolutely love what it does for my skin! Thanks again, Ladies!

HI I don't kow where you live, but you can try finding a salon that carries eminence. It is an organic skin care line out of Hungary and it truely is the best Ihave ever used..
I also have combo skin. I love Olay Total Effects. Its kinda pricey, but a little bit goes a long way. I also like Clinque's DDML. But, when I got pregnant with my son, suddenly I was allergic to everything Clinque. I havent tried it since.
Hi S.,
I'm also an Arbonne rep. & I would totally recommend the Arbonne Intelligence Smart system - it self-adjusts to your face whether somedays you are oily or dry! The thermal fusion mask is to die for!! It exfoliates 7 layers of dead skin away unclogging your pores and making your skin feel like a baby's bottom!
My friends and I swear by it & you can get 35% off by signing on as a wholesale buy / consultant fee for $29 (like a price club / BJs membership) you get 35 % everything for one full year plus any product free with your first order!

I hear you, I have the same problem. I use Clarins Hydra Matte Day Lotion. It moisturizes but keeps your face from shinning. Hope it works!!

I use Arbonne on Lily & Owen (Owen had Eczema & hasn't since using this...so it really worked for him). Here's the link....
https://www.arbonne.com/products/baby/set.asp
• Botanically-based and pH correct
• Pediatrician and dermatologist tested
• Non-sensitizing, non-irritating
• Formulated without nut oils
• Tear-free hair and body wash
• Not tested on animals
• Sunscreen provides broad-spectrum protection
• ALL Arbonne products are pure, safe, & beneficial
• It contains no mineral oil like some other lotions out there, meaning it won't penetrate the skin & could even cause more iritation. This is a pure, safe & beneficial alternative.
I use the anti-aging body & face. My skin has been awesome since using it for a month now but I noticed the difference in day 2 of using a sample kit. I have rosacea & have been using various prescriptions for like 10 years now. I was going to get a stronger prescription after I finished breastfeeding Owen since I felt like my skin was a disaster but my skin has been better than any prescriptions I've taken in 10 years, any of the hundreds of products I've tried (most recently Dermalogica), and better than any of my every other month facial/microdermabrasion. The Anti-aging body should be use on your belly/boobs/butt for pregnancy & post-stretch marks. It's so important to try to feel good about yourself & with kids so you can project positive energy to them.
I started a local pre-natal community for moms to connect socially in conjunction with learning something fun for our babies (massage & knitting first)! Through this I've been introduced to great things & Arbonne was great for mine & my babies skin.
There are great before and after pics available at arbonne.com. While I use the anti aging, the Intelligence Skin Conditioning oil is great for adult eczema.
Arbonne prodcuts can change your skin, the business can change your life!

Mary Kay makes a Great Skin Care set for combination skin , you can check out my site at www.marykay.com/cbrundige
It's called Face Butter from Carols Daughter it works wonders she has a line of beauty products.
I love Mary Kay! I had such problems with my skin, it was hard to find a perfect balance - I would use products that would clear up the breakouts but would overdry the rest of my skin and vice versa. The Timewise collection from Mary Kay has an oily/combo set that is perfect! In the winter I still get a little dry so I use the hydrating gel every other day(it's purple but very refreshing!) in addition to the regular moisturizer on the dry areas and it's just enough! It's a bit pricey - but it's worth it - my skin has never looked better! It even keeps things in check during hormonal times of the month when my skin used to be a disaster! Hope it helps!
try L'Oreal Hydra-Renewal, its a water based moisturizer (not oil) so it will hydrate your dry skin but won't aggravate the oily parts.
Hi S.. I have oily skin and used to get breakouts. Ever since i was pregnant with my daughter, the breakouts stopped. I use oil of olay Definity. I have to say that my skin has never felt or looked better. I have very sensitive skin too. It really smooths your skin and evens out your skin tone. It is a little pricey (about $25), but well worth it. I hope this helps. :)
it may be alittle expensive but i use marykay stuff and it works great i have the same problem but i also have winter itch and the marykay stuff helps that too good luck to find a marykay dealer near you just google marykay and it should list a dealer near you
S.-
Your face is both excessively dry and overly oily and breaking out because of the ingredients that are in the products you use. Most skin care products in the general market are filled with cheap oils that suffocate your skin.
They also contain MANY chemicals that cause irritation, rashes and will actually cause the problems you are trying to solve.
I have personally researched the ingredients in our beauty products for almost 2 years--buying chemical dictionaries, reading countless articles and calls to the creators of the products I finally found that are pure and effective. They allow your skin to breath and heal itself--therefore, self regulating the oil production. You need to use these types of products only. No soaps, no chemicals. Of course, what you put in your body affects your skin too, so drink pure water and eat wholesome food. If you want to learn more and check out the products I recommend (I chose the best of each category-I am not loyal to any one company). Pleae go to www.beauty-with-integrity.com or www.beautywithintegrity.net I would be happy to help you - e-mail me any questions. I am sure I can help you to better skin.
Thanks for your time

Hi S.,
Try Bath&Body Works. They have good stuff. I use Oat Face Moisturizer for Oily skin and it works like a miracle.
Good luck,
L.
Hi S. C,
I have a suggestion. It works for me. I have oily skin. This serum that i use doesnt make my skin break out, it controls the shine and really keeps my skin nicely moisturized and comfortable. I use the facial wash and then the facial serum. the wash controls oily skin, but it balances everything. The company is islandsistabathandbody.com. there stuff is organic. you can try them if you like. good luck!
I have very sensitive skin and alot of skin allergies and the best one I have found that works well is Dove daily face moisturizer, it has SPF 15 and it doesnt make me break out. Their foaming face wash is nice too.
As a avon representative I would suggest true pore-fection, its a 4 step remedy: 1: skin clearing gel cleansing or skin refining cleanser 2:tone:skin refining toner 3:treat:skin refining mask and 4:moisturizer oil-free skin clearing lotion so let me know if you are interested in buy ok.
I also have combination skin and I use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturing GEL. It's different from their lotion as it's oil free.

Hi S.
Sorry to hear about this, have you tried Mary Kay products? I am currently selling them, to convert from a NY administrative assistant to a stay at home mommy, they aren't really expensive at all, you should give it a try. My skin broke out a lot, but this was when i got off birth control and the determatologist said it was hormonal so no creams would help me. Have you seen a doctor about it?
J.
Hi S., I've found that what's natural works the best on and in our bodies. The company I work for has a great beauty line developed by Nicole Miller that I'm sure could work for you. They also have various lotions, oils, and acne products for other areas of your life or other people you know - all safer for you and the enviroment. The best part is that they are all naturally derived, you get them delivered to your doorstep, and there's a money-back guarantee. AND, if you stay with the products, you can earn some extra $$$ just by telling other people about it. Send me a note if you'd like more information. I'd love to chat with you more about it! God bless!

I use Cetaphil lotion. I went to dermatologist a few years back and was told to use that. Don't use ANYTHING with alcohol or salyicic acid (spelling?). I was paying so much for the fancy lotions and this stuff costs about $10 and you can get it at the drugstore or food store. I also use the skin cleanser. It seems to work for me.. I have very sensitive skin that used to break out all time... not anymore..
hope it helps!
Hi S.,
I had the same problem! I tried a bunch of different products & my face would get over hydrated & become oily then I would break out like a teenager! Until recently I became an MK Consultant & tried the products formulated for combination-oily skin & normal-dry skin & haven't had a problem this winter for the first time in years! I personally use the combination-oily cleanser followed by the moisturizer & you only need to use a small amount so it lasts a few months. I can send you a sample to try both out if you'd like & see which is best for you.
Hope this helps.

Aveeno, I have a similar face and I love Aveeno.
I have dry/oily skin on my face as well. I do get smaller breakouts and irritations still, and I know being pregnant isn't helping that! But I have found that the best way to keep this under control is by cleansing with a gentle toner or face wash (without salycilic acid) so its not too harsh and then I acutally use aloe vera gel for a moisturizer. Aloe vera is natural and clean feeling ... and works great to combat dry skin! I sometimes use witch hazel after the shower (you can buy a bottle of the astringent at wal-mart for real cheap). Its a gentle toner/moisturizer. Just a couple suggestions. This is what works for me and helps me keep control (for the most part). Hope it helps.
