I switched to my husbands insurance after having my son and my current Dr. doesn't accept United Health Care insurance. I am looking for a new Dr. in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

What can I do next?

Sorry it is a little bit of a drive but up the road from you in Novi, MI is a Dr. Barad. She is family practice, so she does the whole family. She is an AWESOME doctor. I am a nurse and she is my doctor, if that tells you anything. I know she accepts United Health because is was my insurance. I wish I knew someone closer to you, sorry. :)

Hi C.,

If you go to this link: http://www.uhc.com/findaphysician.htm
with your insurance information, it should give you a list of providers in your area. Good luck in your quest!!!

I'm pretty sure most doctors at U OF M accept UHC. I think I have even had it in the past and used it there. Also I LOVE the docs there. I get great health care and enjoy being able to go to the U of M East Ann Arbor Health Care right off Rt23 on Plymouth road rather than the main hospital in down town AA. Good Luck. I think you can also check out U of M hospital website and it might even tell you if they accept UHC or I think the main number for information is ###-###-####. Good luck.
