Life-long Dreams About Houses?

Ever since I was a little girl, I've had dreams that we would be in the house that we live in, but we would always find secret doors and discover that there are tons more rooms or a higher level of house and there is almost always a second kitchen found. I love these dreams. They are always good and happy, but I just wonder what they mean. Any dream experts here? I'm off today and this question just popped in my head, so I thought I'd ask...

What can I do next?

I've always heard that those dreams of finding additional rooms, passageways, etc. (I've had them too!) are metaphorical for finding out parts/aspects/things about yourself that you haven't known. Sooooo...maybe there's more to you than meets the eye?

Wow, I have those dreams sometimes too!!! I love the finding more rooms feeling, it is always happy but also a little spooky for me. I also wonder what it means, and how many of us have a similar dream?

Dream interpretation is different for every person. How do you feel in the dream?
As an outsider looking in (I don't know you) it sounds like you lust for a sense of adventure and discovery and possible that you are an optimistic person?

Yeah, I think, psychologically that the house symbolizes the dreamer. There must be more to you than meets the eye! :)

I love those dreams. I get them too. But I don't know what they mean :) Our current home does have lots of closets and a 2nd kitchen. But it's a money pit. In fact, all our homes have been money pits.

If I were to guess... I like moving. There's a certain kind of excitement that comes with new ventures. The idea of getting to know new people, new stores, going into a new house and figure out where everything will go.. It's all different and I just enjoy it. It's a lot of work too though and I'm glad that we haven't moved excessively. In wonder if the dreams have anything to do with just being a bit bored with the routine in life and hoping for surprises a long the way.

I really think its saying that there are exciting/comforting things in your life you have yet to explore, but that they are an effortless destination and have been there waiting....all along. Once obtained they will be a fixture in your life forever, permanent attachments to who you can become if you obtain them.

I always have dreams i can fly, and that its easy, im convinced i can wake up and do it with ease.....they are bittersweet
