Hi Moms, I need some ideas for games to play with my daughters 4th grade class at our end of year party. At our other parties we did BINGO, Word Searches, etc... I need some really fun & inexpensive game ideas. My husband & I are doing a pizza party for the class and don't want to spend too much money on the games. Thanks!!

What can I do next?

Write names of people/characters on a piece of paper and have everybody put one on their back. They then have to go around and ask each other questions to try ad figure out who it is. You can set rules like they can only ask each person one question and it has to be yes/no questions. Since they are in 4th grade you can use people they know. Hanna Montana, etc.

If you can go outside and let them get a bit wet. . . Duck Duck Squirt. It's just like duck duck goose, but using a squirt or a spray bottle, instead of saying goose, they squirt the kid in the back. They played that at my son's field day and all the kids had so much fun!

Sticky Guy! Wrap 2 students in duct tape, sticky side out. Then have the teams blow up and tie balloons and stick them to the taped student. The team with the most balloons on their sticky guy at the end of time wins.

One of my children's favorite &
unexpensive game is the one that
you draw "something" with a pencil
while holding a 4.5" x 3" piece of
card on top of their heads.

The kids will have fun trying to do
their best drawing "whatever". For
your pizza party, you can ask the class
to draw a pizza ...you'd get
a bunch of giggles because it's simply very
hard to draw something without
one looking at it, so the kids need to
have a piece of card and a pencil in their
hands, they place the card on top of
their heads. With one hand they hold
the card and with the other they draw the pizza....looking at the drawing is not
allowed 'til the drawing is completly done.
The drawing will look like everything else
except a pizza. then you display all the
drawings on the board and give the first treat
of the party (cake, cookies) to the one(s)
that get a closer image to the
drawing you requested to begin with.

I use this game for baby-showers, to
draw the baby, on bridal showers to
draw mother in-law, or groom's
ex-girlfiends. In halloween we draw
monsters. In Christmas, christmas trees.
It's fun try it!

Can you go outside and play some water balloon games?? One of the best is to play water balloon volley ball with towels. But if water balloons wont work, you can do it with those cheap blow up beach balls! You take two players per towel, one person on each side, and they volley the ball/ water balloon with the towel. Or, relay races like 3 legged races, passing a tennis ball with your neck, racing with an egg on a spoon. Something physical is more fun in my opinion, but I realize that the weather plays a role. If I think if some good inside games, I will add to my list:) ~A.~

I like the sound of the STICKY GUY game recommended below. However, after having raised 4 kids over the past 24 years and having seen most every kind of crazy-kid-type of accident possible, my concern would be that with their arms taped to their side, if they lost balance and tipped over, their face is the only thing left to break their fall! So, make sure arms stay OUTSIDE of tape!

Maybe you could require that arms and legs be wrapped individually to give more sticky surface area. The kids could race to blow up balloons while other team members are racing to get their sticky guy wrapped.

Also, never play any kind of mouth-stuffing game with marshamallows, or grapes, or saltine crackers. Some kids want to win so badly, they ignore the fact that they can't breath anymore, until it's too late, and they pass out, and then someone has to clear their esophagus with a Heimlich maneuver.
