How do you sharpen serrated knives? The same way you do the others?

What can I do next?

For me, yes, the same way as others - take it to a place that sharpens knives!! :)

Dear M., No. I don't think so. I really don't know how to sharpen them. I'd like to see the other answers. Grandma Mary

I don't know that you can do this at home. I've always heard that you need to take the serrated ones to a professional. Some brands of knives will sharpen them for free or at a discount, if they have a guarantee on how long they stay sharp and the knives have dulled before the warranty expires. You will have to ship them, though.

Other than taking them to a professional knife sharpener, I don't think you can do anything about a dull serrated knife except replace it. You could try calling the manufacturer of the knife and see if they have any advice for you.
