My eight year old daughter and I were having the "I love you" conversation. It goes like this, "Veronica!'"
"What." she answers.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you MORE!" Exclaims Veronica.
"You have no idea how much I love you." I tell her.
"Well, if I had to choose between a lifetime pass to Space Mountain, and I could ride it over and over without waiting, any time I wanted, but I had to give up you, I would choose you!" States V sincerely.
Laughing, I said, "WOW!"
"Seriously, Mommie, I would be lost without you!"
I feel loved!
How do your little cherubs tell you they love you, or any memorable quotations?

What can I do next?

when my daughter was little and was learning about chewing gum but not swallowing it, i was tucking her into bed one night and said "i love you to pieces!" and she replied "i love you to gum!" then she decided a piece of gum sounded good at that moment! she is now 13 and we still say that to each other and will always have that memory. i love the things kids can come up with, too.

My 2 1/2 year old son lays his head on my chest and says "I love your nurse mama, it's smooshy." lol! Nurse has become the word for boobs!

I forgot this one because he's not MY kid, but my little brother was 5 when I had my oldest son. I took him to visit my family when he was 2wks. old. The first time I nursed him in front of my brother I told him "I'm going to feed the baby now." When I took the nursing pad out of my bra, he said "Is that baby Micha's plate?" He also asked me why I had "tiger-stripes" on my tummy. LOL! We're still telling that story and he's 13 now!

I put my son in bed a few days ago [he is not quite 2.5] and he grabbed my chin with his hand and planted a big slimy kiss on my lips and said "I Wuv you mama, see-u wayter" and he laid right down and waved goodbye. It was perfect. I'll never forget that :)

my son is not even 2 but he says "ioooveu" as a single word for I love you. He randomly comes up to me with puppy dog eyes and says "mommy" and big hugs! He says the silliest things lately like "cars. remote. tv" when he wants to watch 'Cars' I usually don't let him, but occasionally its so cute that I give in.
And now, he looks out the window, runs and get his shoes while yelling "shoes! shoes! outsiiiiiide" and will jump on my lap and hop around while I put his shoes on and continues to chant "outside! shoes! outside!" I love him so much and adore that he loooves being outside so much!

My kids and I always said "I love you more" and it went to infinity and such. My granddaughter tells me that she loves me to the sun and back after i told her i love her to the moon and back, she is 3.. but what summed up all the love in the world is when durning the childrens sermon at Church the minister asked my granddaughter and the other children what they thought Love was in honor of Valentines day and my little granddaughter answered very loud and clear "My Grandpa and Grandma"

My son will be 3 in aug and he is always coming up and giving me hugs! I just love it, but it is very sweet on the weekends when i go to put on my make up. He will have to be in the bathroom with me and sit on the toilet seat and grab different things of my make-up out of the drawer. Then he will hand me the items one by one that i have to put on and when im done he will look at me and say "You look nice mommy". It is so sweet to hear your little boy say things like that. So simple and heartwarming. I have a 3 month old daughter also and cant wait to hear what cute things she will say! Kids are the best!!!

My grandson, 4.5 years old, has a great vocabulary, but hasn't quite figured out all the irregular verbs. So my daughter was trying to leave the house for an appointment the other day, and he sat on her foot and wrapped his arms and legs around her to keep her home. His observation: "Mommy, you're being weared by a boy!"

ohhh :) We have the 'I love you, no I love you, no I love you more, well I love you to infinity and beyond' and it goes back and forth. My kids are older now and we still go at it almost every night and they always have something new to add to the list :) But it sure makes me feel special, specially after the tell me, "mom you look nice" and I haven't even put make up on!
But what tops my days, is when they come and give me a kiss without me asking for it and for no reason whatsoever!!! They sure are a blessing!

I'll never forget the day that my son and I were getting ready to leave for a birthday party. I wasn't wearing anything too special, just jeans and a nice shirt with a nice necklace or something. I was putting my son's shoes on, and he looked up at me, his eyes lit up, and with the pure and innocent sincerity that can only come from a child, he said, "You look pretty, mommy!"

Let me tell you, there is no man on this planet that could say those words to me and make me feel any more special than my son did in that moment. One of those things I'll never forget. :)

Dropping my daughter off at preschool one morning I said to her "I love you Angel Face" and she replied back "I love you too Mommy face". She had never replied back like that before and it actually brought tears to my eyes and the teachers that heard said "aawwwwwwww!" My daughter is almost 13 and STIll calls me Mommy Face!

My Son at age 3 said to me while I was holding him and he was giving me kisses...."Mommy you're so beautiful. You're the best mommy in the world" and I was so touched and said Thank you my Darling. Then he said "and I'm so handsome"! That was just awesome! He still says that to me all the time. I have a very healthy ego! LOL

When my daughter was small (like 2 and up) we'd ask her who she loved better Daddy or Mommy. Who ever asked she always said with a grin that she loved the other one more.

We also used to say "I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck." when she was in choir in college that was one of the songs they sang at their first concert. She never knew it came from an old song.

My favorite thing she did at 3 (okay she is now 28) was.. she was being a little pistol. I told her is she didn't stop I was going to give her away and never come back and get her. She started laughing. It was such a belly laugh that soon both of us where quite literally rolling on the ground laughing with tears running down our faces. Once we could stop laughing enough to talk I asked her why we where laughing. She said "ah mom you'll never get rid of me". That started the laughing all over again. And she was right even if at times......

My three-year-old son and I were reading about the Paradise Tree Snake, and he asked me what "paradise" was. I told him paradise is a place where everything is perfect. He thought for a minute and then said, "Well, this must be paradise then, here where we live."

Awwwww . . . . Too special! You need to keep a journal of all her little sayings. My oldest daughter's books is filling up.I plan on giving it to her when she's an adult. I have the little one's book waiting for when she starts talkin. I mix it with pictures and journal entries of what she's doing as well.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your moment with your daughter. That was very sweet and touching.

I posted below what my daughter said on another topic that was applicable but thought I would share it here as well. Reminds me that there is more to life than what we see.

"Mommy before me and Emmy were born we played by a log by a creek that was far far away. Then we chose you and daddy to take care of us."

My son says- Mommy, I love you all the way to heaven and all the way to the devil- and back. That is as far in each direction as you can go in my opinion.
