What is the cutest thing your kids ever did. My oldest run away at 2 went 3 doors down and decided he was hungry and come home. (before you get critical I was watching him the whole time) and had a christmas party at 3 opened every present in the house had coke and marshmellows and if he liked the present he would throw a marshmellow. This was by himself mind you he woke up before me. I found a marshmellow 6 months later in a plant I was going to repot. second son. I folded socks and put them on the sofa and he meticulously at 9 months old took them all and threw them in the floor. We did this 5 times. He also put a bowl on my dogs head for 3 hours. Poor dog sat there patiently and let him do it. My dog kissed him every time the bowl would fall off. I figured a just for fun to lighten things up and be humorous instead of serious.

What can I do next?

Gee this is a tough one! My daughter says the darnest things everyday!!!! LOL the latest one (although it was not funny to her) was when we went to the farm. We got goat food and went into "Goat ville." One of the goats bit her arm and she tells me screaming "Mommy the donkey ate my arm!" I could not stop laughing! I know, what a mean Mom ;)

- At 2 filled the toilet with ROLLS of toilet paper (about 14 was what we fished out), kept trying to flush them, and was marching around grumbling with a plunger (new) in one hand (and as big as he was) trying to get our LAST roll of toilet paper onto the mountain in the bowl with the other hand, but it kept rolling off. ((I've got photos of that one))

- At 3 stomped in from the backyard HIGHLY offending and proceeded to tell us the "The squirrels are mocking I !!!. Dey dey dey LOOK like they want to play, but then I run towards them and the RUN AWAY really really FAST. So I stop. And they talk at me like the want to play, so I run, but they just run away too fast and make fun that I'm slooooooooow. We've got mean squirrels. They don't want to play, they just want to show off how fast they are and how slow I am." Yup. Apparently you DO know what the word "mock" means.

- First time I cried in front of him on accident (3ish) I found a little hand patting me on the shoulder and humming "Shhhhhhhhhhhh. It's gonna be awight. I wove you. Shhhhhhhhh." in my ear.

<laughing> Oh yeah... he'd also "Meow" whenever we gave him canned food (tuna, campbels soup, etc.). He was convinced we were giving him cat food for over 2 years.

Yesterday, my 3 1/2 son went in our room and came back with a purple bra on. When we asked why he was wearing a bra, he told us that this was his Halloween costume, of course. He was a purple bat like the one on the neighbor's door! He was so proud we just couldn't help but laugh.
When he saw us laughing, he went offended and said that he couldn't wear the bra anyways because he didn't have "these 2 ones" (and pressed my boobs while saying it!)

I guess that a bra may look like a bat somehow, but not anymore when you wear it!
LOL.
Thanks for the post!

Everything my kids did was cute. ;)
I think one of my fondest memories was when the boys were about 6 and 7 (they are only 11 mos apart), the New Kids on the Block was the hot boy band, and my sons liked that music. They had a tape recorder and of course we had the latest vid cam.... they would choreograph and sing and dance. The performances were so cute! My youngest, now 29, has all of those vids.... I'd probably cry if I watched them now. They grow up so fast. Savor every second you have with them right now..... you don't get to hold them on your lap comfortably after they get grown up, darnit.

One day my daughter and I were at my mom's house. She had just turned 4yrs old. Mom and I were sitting at the kitchen table chatting and my daughter was running around playing. Well, she spotted a can of Pringles on the kitchen counter and she was trying to reach them. She was on the tippiest of tippy toes and the can was still just out of her reach. I was aware of her trying to reach them even though I was in conversation with my mom. As she was stretching to reach them, she muttered under her breath, “Damn”. I immediately said, “(insert her first, middle & last name here), what did you just say?!” She looked at me with super wide big blue eyes, still on her tippy toes with her arm out-streched and said, “Uh……………..I love you?” To this day, I don’t think my mom and I have ever laughed so hard!

Thanks for the question! It was fun to think back over all the funny/cute things my kiddos have done! =0)

We took our son who will be 7 on oct 28 to get his flu shot earlier this week and didn't tell him about it. He didn't even cry or fuss but as we were on the way home he said "mama why did I have to get a flea shot?" I don't have fleas!!!! I laughed all the way home. Then this morning after he got on the bus I went out to get something from the car and in the dew on the window he had written I love you! Ahhhhhhhhh so sweet!

My daughther tried to put my bra on and asked where her boobies where. She said I can't find them. Then we had to have the boobie talk.

I told my daughter stupid wasn't a nice word and if she said it again she was going in time out. Well Im driving and get cut off so I called the person stupid. My daughter told me I would have to go to time out when i got home. We were gone for a long time that day so I thought she forgot about it but as soon as we got home she told me I had to go to time out so I went. I think I was in there longer than I was supposed to be.

Her first summer she was about 7 or 8 months and she hated to wear shoes. One day we were out and she had on the cutest sandals. When I was getting her out of her carseat I noticed her shoes were missing. I couldn't find them anywhere. Her window was opened so I guess she threw them out. I just had to laugh.

We have always kept a collection of porcelain dolls for my daughter(now 11) since she was born. We get her one every birthday and every Christmas. Now she knows to expect them and she loves getting them but one Christmas right before she turned 3 she opened up a doll and said "Oh thank you Mommy it's what I NEVER knew I ALWAYS wanted"...it was too cute and we teased her about it so now randomly she will say that after opening up a Christmas or birthday gift.

My daughter is 14 now. When i met my husband my daughter was 4. I remember us going to the zoo one day and we were watching the monkey she was leaning on the rail with him holding her. With him not thinking at the time he said watch out for that bird sh*t and she clamly said what bird sh*t...it was so funny. Fast forward a couple of years my husband had an older boxer who hated storms. When it would storm she got nervous and would pass gas. I am talking about the worse smelling gas ever. Well when a storm would come thru she would want to get in the bed with you. Well one night she she was whining so we put her out of the bedroom and shut the door. The next morning we woke up and she was in the bed with my daughter covered up and her head was on the pillow. Here is why it is so funny the boxer had bad knees so she couldn't jump in the bed so this is what my daugher told us. She said Mama she was crying so i put her front paws on the bed and i lifted her butt up and put her in the bed with me. It was the cutest picture ever on one pillow the boxer, my daughter in the middle and on the other side our little chihuahua laying on the other pillow.

Oldest son (now 7):
At 3 years old wanted to come out on the deck with me but didn't have shoes on, I said "its fine, you can come out in bare feet"...he hesitated, walked out slowly while watching his feet, he looked upset and I asked "what's the problem"....he replied in a soft sad voice " I like my feet, I don't want to have bear feet"! HA...he totally thought his feet would turn into a bears' feet!
At 4 years old wanted to know something about Army soldiers, I told him to go downstairs and ask Daddy (who was playing Xbox with his older brothers) after a minute he came back up with arms folded and said "Mom, he gave me no respect"! Apparently Daddy was too preoccupied to listen to him...

Youngest son (now 5):
At 2 years old, helped Grandpa make Grandma a birthday cake ( I just had my baby girl and had been home from the hospital for a few hours, was in my room with the baby and my in-laws were here helping with the older boys) they spent hours on the cake, made it look pretty with sprinkles and candles...son comes into my room covered in chocolate and says "I LOOOOVE Grandma's birthday cake"...while everyone was doing something else he snuck in and helped himself!

Baby girl (almost 3):
At 2 years old, her and her brothers had went into their rooms and dumped their laundry baskets so they could play with them...dirty clothes all over the 2 rooms...I tell them to go back in and clean up their messes...2 boys (6 and 4) go in their room and proceed to lay on the floor and roll around and complain about how hard it will be, it will take forever, blah blah blah...sweet baby girl goes into her room, and in one fail swoop bends down and picks up all her clothes at once, even bending down to retrieve a sock she had dropped and bam! Dumps them in her basket, "oh-Tay mom, all done...Me help brudders now"!!- Gotta love the girls!

When my oldest was 3, she was being really cranky one day. Hubby and I were sort of teasing her to try to lighten her mood. She hid under the coffee table and we kept teasing her. Then, she sprang up, threw her arms up and yelled, "Silence! I'm grumpy!" Lol.

My oldest girl (by one minute) was sitting on my lap. She was about 13 months. One of our cats was sitting next to us on the arm of the couch. T was petting her and suddenly grabbed her tail, holding it up perpendicular to the floor, and only using her wrist, bent her tail back and forth while saying," Deer du deer du deer du deer in a deep, sing-song voice. I must have laughed for ten minutes! Ever since then she has called any animals tail a duitter dit. I love it. It is soo cute and funny. I have even been known to encourage it although I know she will eventually have to stop. :(
(She does know what it is really called as her twin calls it a tail and she will point to it if you ask her where the cats tail is- then corrects you saying its a duitter dit!)

Last night, I was saying prayers with my daughter, and I said, 'thank you Lord for Lily who is so special to us". I said, "Lily, do you know why you're special?" (She is adopted). She said, "Yes, cause I so beautiful". I cracked up.
