I try to send a flower to all that answer my question but if I feel their response is really off the mark then I don't.

I usually send one to everyone who responds, unless their response is really offensive.

I've only asked a few questions, but no. I usually send flowers to those responses on OTHER people's posts that I REALLY agree with or think is a thought provoking response. I sort of think of the flowers (maybe they aren't meant to be) as a way of saying "ditto"... lol. And if I am the one asking the question, then obviously I don't "know" the answer... so I couldn't very well "ditto" it, right?
Maybe I am way off about the whole flower thing... have I been doing it wrong?!

Tehehe, as everybody knows and is probably tired of it, I send flowers to EVERYONE! I think it's a great service that ANY of us takes the time and thought to answer ANY question, whether I agree with them or not!!

I specifically like to give flowers when it is not my own question... that is mostly because I agree, or they just had a great, insightful, humorous, or helpful answer. I also give flowers to people that have answered my questions, just to show I appreciate it.

If I don't give a flower, it doesn't mean I didn't like or appreciate the answer, though.. maybe I'm in a hurry, or got a lot of answers, or am not in a flower-giving mood, etc.

In a way, I appreciate all "GENUINE" answers here, whether I agree or disagree.

I send a flower if I can relate or what they say helps me to a question I have asked. On other peoples questions, I'll send a flower if somebody answered like I would, or if they make a really good point.

Hi XINE,
I think it's a nice gesture when other people give flowers to responses as well. (Whether it's because they agree with the person.... and it was well said or because they learned something from the post, too.) Sometimes I enjoy reading what moms have to say and I think.... "You know what, this mom/poster said it SO well, why should I bother typing pretty much the same thing? (So I don't and give a flower to indicate... well said.... couldn't have said it any better.) I do have to say that it does feel good to see 5 flowers, 7 flowers, etc.... by my response to a post. (I'm sure it does to all of you as well, right?) That tells me that others enjoyed, agreed , etc... with my comment.

I read what others say and give advice usually, but when I do ask a question, I almost always give a flower as a way to say thank you for taking the time out to answer my question. There are times (but not often) where someone will say something already mentioned in my post/comment and I feel like well they aren't saying anything new or something totally obvious and I won't click on the "send flower."
Have a great day!

J.

Yes. Unless an answer seems "rude" or spiteful. If they are genuine, I send flowers whether it's what I wanted to hear or not.

I send flowers to those that strike me as particularly helpful or insightful. Not a matter of me liking or disliking the answers per se. Those that come across as mean spirited or the responser doesn't seem to "get" what I was asking or what I am trying to achieve do not get a flower.

I send them to almost everyone who took the time to answer my question unless a) they are SUPER rude - and I don't mean just disagree with me. My husband disagrees with me by the minute, as do my clients. I can handle and appreciate a difference of opinion. It is pure MEANNESS I cannot stand!; or b) I literally have 65 responses and cannot take the time to "flower" everyone!

With regard to other poster's questions and peoples' responses on there - I "flower" just those I thought were particularly insightful or funny.

=)

What about you??
