I see so many posts on here with tons of details. I'm wondering if anyone has ever been confronted by the person they were posting about?

I don't tell anyone else I'm on here either. Obviously, I don't use my real name. I also don't use my location - I just went with the default location. I also don't use names in my posts.

Perish the thought. I've never told any of the moms I know about this site. Really selfish of me, but, I couldn't take it if I hurt anyones feelings by venting. semi-annonymously on here. Of course, the internet is public domain and that info is out there for anyone to see, but, here's hoping they don't!
This is my selfish thing! I tell noone of my mamapedia. No, I don't personally know any of my mamas on here really but I keep it real even though its cyber land. I say nothing on here that I wouldn't say in real life so I have nothing to hide. I would deal with that the way I deal with all the haters in my life, shooo it away :)

I have never posted anything on here that I wouldn't tell someone in the real world. People that know me know that. I would be more inclined to expect that if I posted about someone here and they read it they would create a username and yell at me here. It is safer. No I am not even remotely a physical person but I am very good at debate. :)

As to my posts and answers to posts? No one has come to my door - so, no, not in "real" life - but PMd me...however, NOT because I wrote something about THEM - they simply read what I wrote and ASSUMED it was about them...oh my!!!
And my posts here? As with others, i wouldn't say anything here that I wouldn't say to your face.
I changed my city since I'm an apartment manager and bring up incidents about my tenants on occasion, didnt want any of them to wig out on me ;)
I don't know anyone personally that uses this site and I don't tell anyone in my family about it except for saying "oh on my mom's site such and such happened" on occasion.
Sometimes I vent about my mother and I would hate it if she ever read it and got her feelings hurt.
Well I'm probably the only one but yes some how my sister in law said one of her friends told her about this website and she stumbled across my page and read all my post some were about them and some were personal. I never in my wildest dreams thought anything about her getting on here but it happened. So just be careful with what you post nothing is save!!
That is such a funny question. I wish that I could give more detail, but I don't want anyone to be able to go back to an older post and figure me out, only because I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings unnecessarily.
The other way around, few times especially when the names are being stated TMI. Sadly their marriage problems, MIL drama, kids school problems, neighbors issues and friends issues.

I haven't but wouldn't really care. The only people I have b*&^%ed about on here (I think) are my ex and my husband's ex and I would not care if they read everything I ever wrote. I'd discuss the same things to their faces, so I don't really care. Now, I would be uncomfortable if someone I knew were reading about my lady part issues or sex life, lol!
