Yep, we did. Husband was sick the month before, we did it once, and he gave it to me. I know we got pregnant from that one time, because I was sick after that until I got the positive.

Not me, but my friend.. The FIRST try for my friend and she got pregnant.. She was married for 1 month and found out... They thought it might take awhile,so they'd start right away... They were wrong!

my son is that ONE time. LOL we were not quiet ready to start our 3rd baby. However he was gone overseas for work. He was gone for a few months, and when he got to come back, his job had him scheduled to go to Baltimore again for 2 weeks. So he would have ONE day with me at home before catching the next flight. I wasnt tracking or trying, we just had a night of fun. 9 months later Ro came into our lives.

This is something that no one knows except now the whole Mamapedia community but I dont care. My (now) husband and I met on yahoo personals and chatted online for a few weeks. We met in person on June 21 2008 and March 19, 2009 we met our first son! We conceived the first time we had sex. Talk about OOPS! We are now freshly married and have beautiful 3 and 2 year old boys.

My 2 oldest! Withour second I told him we can try ONE time, we definitely tried one time, both of us went out of town the next day and 3 weeks later I was reading a positive pregnancy test. However with # 3 we tried for 6-8 months until we just gave up. I was going to buy condoms since I didn't want to be preggo in the summer(haha!)-I am 36 weeks today with #3 that took awhile to conceive!

Nope. Nature wasn't as kind to us. But that's okay. We were eventually blessed with 3 beautiful babies with the help of a knowledgeable doctor who figured out what the heck was wrong. After surgery, lots of shots, and the IUI procedure, we FINALLY got pregnant with our son. :)

My first one is a one-timer. We started talking about trying and 6 weeks later the test was positive.

My second one was a birth control failure so who knows.

Yes. Three times. Luckily we wanted a baby and purposely had sex when I thought i was ovulating. But it only takes one time.

Yes, and it was the blessing of blessings. I'd just had my third miscarriage and it was the one time we didn't use protection.

Kiddo was a 'surprise' baby in the very best way, because I really didn't think I could ever carry to term. Esp at 35 with so many past failures.

Thank you, M. L. It's a sweet memory-- you have a great day too!

My baby boy#3 is a one timer. We were not trying and were not really planning on another baby. We normally use condoms but didn't want to that time. I thought I was okay in my cycle and well I was wrong. We had unprotected sex one time and I got pregnant.

well I have been pregnant 4 times (one ending in miscarriage) but with all of those I got pregnant that first month of trying. I know you mean just 1 time of unprotected sex but still......You only ovulate 1 day out of your cycle so yes all 4 times I got pregnant that first cycle of trying. I am hoping that I am pregnant this month, and I'm taking a test tomorrow. So baby dust to both of us!!!!!!

My first two I was on the young and on the pill and got preggo. #3 I was 36 and it took me 2 cycles. Now, I'm almost 38 and last month we did it at exactly the right time and I am not preggers. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with my age and maybe the fact that I'm still nursing. So, I"m not sure of your age, but I think that would weigh into it as well. For the record, we aren't "actively" trying but . . . we want one more, Im just trying to figure out when to start "trying" as I know it could take a while....but what if it doesn't?? She's almost 9 months, so I guess if it happened now, it wouldn't be the end of the world, besides, I"m not getting any younger :-)

Good luck and I hope you get the outcome you want.

All 3 of my pregnancies were the result of "one hit wonders" during my ovulation week. Day 14, 15 and 17--all boys. We don't use any artificial birth control--just track my cycles on My Fertility Friend (a website and an app for my iPad), and I monitor my cervical mucus.

SOrt of....

With both of us working and a just turned 4 year old my hubby and don't get a lot of us time. SO we made a daytime day and he came home for lunch when she was in school and we had fun (After 3 year of trying we figured it was never going to happen, so just fun, no real thoughts of conception :) Anyway, he got home for lunch late and we just didn't have time. :(

That night I actually rolled over - much to both our surpise, since waking me up usually a really bad idea... and wham! the next day I realzied that when we did it was the day... exactly 2 weeks after my last period and two weeks later I tested positive, with my son due in October.

Yup, we were "done", but got a surprise after "one time". What a wonderful surprise! And doubly unexpected as a 40 year old mom.

Yep - my two younger ones. I should have known...I was on the pill with both of them (the regular one with my first, the mini-pill with my second). When on the pill I have no sex drive at all, because of not ovulating. I never initiate. Well with each of them, I was totally in the mood and flirting with my husband all day (totally out of character for me). Both times I distinctly remember just doing it once and then going back to our regular routine of being too busy/too tired for intimacy and a few weeks later, there I was, looking at a positive test thinking "oh no, not now..."

Yep! Both of my kiddos were from just one time. There was no sex before or after that within the time frame that I could have gotten pregnant. After the second pregnancy I told him not so jokingly "You're never touching me again!" lol

Not me personally, but a very good friend of mine got pregnant without even doing it that one time. Seriously... no intercourse, just messing around.. When she went in to the doctor's office with her mother (she was just out of high school) and was examined, she still had her hymen.

Hee hee. I answered your other question.... and yes, the ONE time I had unprotected sex while ovulating is the day I got pregnant.

Totally a surprise, and we weren't ready... but I L. my DD more than anything, and if I could go back I wouldn't change a thing. :)
