Buy a pregnancy test, not an ovulation test, and pee on the stick. And stop having unprotected sex.

See, that's how sex works. If you have it, you could be pregnant. No one here will know, my dear.

Why the hell are you taking "ovulation tests!?" Those are not the same thing as pregnancy tests. An ovulation test predicts when you might get pregnant. It doesn't tell you whether you are.

Please take a pregnancy test. No one here can answer you. And please consider the following: based on the tone of your question, your degree of naiveté, the fact that you're obviously scared that you might be, that you're turning to an anonymous site for help instead of a parent, and the basic fact that you are only 16, you should NOT be having sex! Yes, 16 year olds do (that's why my cousin became a GRANDMOTHER at 33), but seriously, I'd seriously rethink your path. There are a lot of young single mothers out there who love their babies who missed out on a lot of things in life for a little fun.

don't know many 16 year olds who are uneducated enough to have unprotected sex, but have access to ovulation tests (as opposed to pregnancy tests) nor why you'd want to take one.
i call troll.
on the off chance not, i'd say, um, yeah, you could be pregnant.
you had unprotected sex.
that's how it happens.

WELCOME TO MAMAPEDIA!! I'm gonna call troll...on the off-chance you are "real"??

Girl - you are 16 years old and taking ovulation tests????

Please STOP HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX!! In fact - STOP HAVING SEX!!!!

Go to your doctor TODAY. Get checked out for STDs and pregnancy.

Then finish school. Get educated. Get a job and then and ONLY then should you start having unprotected sex.

Is it possible you're pregnant? Yes. You have unprotected sex.
If you are pregnant, what are you going to do?? You don't have your high school diploma. If you think your boyfriend loves you unconditionally? You've got another thing coming...especially once he realizes all his hopes and dreams for his future are compromised as well.

Wake up, girlfriend. You aren't responsible enough to unprotected sex.

Please go to your doctor today. Get tested. STOP having sex!!

Oh E.... have you not had sex ed yet? If not, you are getting a good lesson now!!

Here's the scoop.. IF you have unprotected sex, you can get pregnant. Wow...

Hopefully you are not pregnant because I'd hate for an innocent child to be brought into your life.

Get on birth control, stay in school and educate yourself so the government is not supporting you.

E.,

Why, dear girl, are you not using protection? If you are going to have sex, you must understand how your body works, how STDs are transmitted, and how contraception works.

Don't let panic turn into non-action. Talk to someone today. Your parents, your favorite aunt, an older sibling, school counselor, planned parenthood, just someone! You need to know what's happening with your body, factual information, and a reassuring, helpful adult to assist you with this.

Hoping the best for you

Did you mean that you took a pregnancy test, or an ovulation test?

For heaven's sake, why are you having unprotected sex? That's just stupid, stupid, stupid. Did he say he doesn't like condoms? Or did either of you even THINK about it?

Stop acting like a child doing a grown up deed. Quit having sex with a guy who is such an idiot as to have unprotected sex himself. Neither of you is ready to be a parent. Is he 16 too? He won't take care of you OR a child. For heaven's sake, you do not have to lose your teen years to being a mother. Start being responsible.

If you don't understand what could happen, you should not be having sex. You're 16. You should not be having sex.

You normally ovulate 12-14 days after the first day of your period. So, yes if you had unprotected sex on the 18th, you could definitely be pregnant. You should be taking a pregnancy test, not an ovulation test.

Go to the dollar store and get some tests. Take one now. Repeat again in one week. By then it should show up if you are pregnant. If the test is negative next week, and you're cycle is still out of whack, go see a GYN. While you're there, get some birth control. You're 16 for goodness sake.

As far as timing for pregnancy - you had sex during a very fertile window (assuming a traditional cycle). Bleeding also happened at the perfect time for implantation bleeding. I'd wait a week and take a pregnancy test (not an ovulation test). If you end up not pregnant, you should thank your lucky stars and get on birth control and also start using condoms.

Why do you have an ovulation test? I thought those were expensive and are not that great if you think you ARE ovulating, yet the are positive before ovulation. If you went to the store and bought the kit after you noticed you may be ovulating, you may have taken the test too late.

Please read Julie F's answer carefully--I echo her tone and strong suggestion that you start to get more information AND make decisions based on it. Why do we think you don't have enough information to be having sex? Because if you were well-enough informed about your body and reproduction, you would know that when/whether you have ovulated recently is irrelevant now; you need to know whether you are pregnant, and you won't be able to test for that for another couple weeks.

Also, the fact you seem to be having unprotected intercourse is a huge red flag that you aren't well-informed about sexual health. Neither you nor your boyfriend can be certain that the other person doesn't have an STD--the sores or low-grade fever which indicates syphilis or gonorrhea are easy to miss and go away, leaving no visible signs to the infected person or a partner. So you need a supportive adult to help you get good information and contraception. Please do that. Good luck!

You don't bleed when you ovulate. I could be wrong, but I've never bled during ovulation. There is something called implantation bleeding though. Maybe that's what you meant?

Go to the DR. Yes, you could be pregnant.

I think you should get off the internet, go to health/sex ed class, and spend time/money on contraception instead of ovulation tests. If you're educated and mature enough to consider an ovulation test, you are able to understand that sex = possible pregnancy. Go to Planned Parenthood and get off a parenting site. You need WAY more help, in every way, than mature women can possibly give you here.
