I would love to copy and paste Mamazita's response.
I would give you 1000 flowers if I could for that, Mamazita! I can't add anymore to her words.
I was recently diagnosed with ovarian cysts and I was thinking that that's why I could be feeling sick lately. But me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex for about a month now, and I'm worried I'm pregnant. I'd only be about two weeks along but I have been feeling super nauseous lately, incredibly moody, and my breasts have been incredibly tender. Any advice on what to do?

Today is a holiday for most if not all schools isn't it?
Sex=possibly pregnant
Get a pregnancy test from the store or go to a doctor if this is a legit question and not some bored kid on holiday for the day.
Take a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant you can get an abortion.
This is not something I would encourage most women to do but since you clearly don't understand how pregnancy happens or even that there is a such thing as a pregnancy test I don't think you should reproduce.
My advice? Take control of your own reproductive health. Geez.
Stoppit.
:(
M.,
Welcome to mamapedia!!
How old are you? By the sounds of your post? I would hazard a guess of 17 to 19.
You're NOT married. Can you afford a baby?
WHY are you having unprotected sex?
Do you NOT know what happens when you have unprotected sex??
Let's go back to school and brush up on the human reproductive cycle.
Have you gone to the store, purchased and peed on a stick to see if you are pregnant?? If not - why?
Have you gone to the doctor and told them what is going on?
Stop having unprotected sex. While it's not 100% effective, you MIGHT not get pregnant...and you KNOW WILL NOT pass on STDs....
Go to the doctor!!!
IF you have had sex (unprotected OR not) you could be pregnant.
With or without cysts, unprotected sex increases the likelihood of pregnancy.
PERIOD .
(no pun intended).
Take control of your fertility!
Well, either you're having a baby in 9 or so months or you're not.
Anytime you have unprotected sex, pregnancy is a possibility.
Seems to me the time to worry about this was BEFORE you had unprotected sex.
Take a pregnancy test, and/or see your doctor for a blood test.
If you are not pregnant, then get on some birth control before having any more sex.
If you are pregnant, then either prepare to become a parent, prepare to give it up for adoption or have an abortion and then get on some birth control.
These pretzels are making me thirsty.
If youre nervous about being/getting pregnant why are you having unprotected sex? If you are late go pee on a stick. Thats about all the advice I have. Oh and if you dont want a baby take precautions!
This has to be a joke...
If you are having unprotected sex, you CAN be pregnant.
If you do not want to be pregnant, then STOP having unprotected sex, get on birth control or better yet, keep your legs crossed so you don't bring children into the world when you don't want them.
Now, go to the Dr. and take a pregnancy test. God, some people.
It's so weird that all the trolls ask the same questions.
M. my dear, go to the store and buy a pregnancy test. Take the test and see if you are in fact pregnant. If not, STOP having unprotected sex. Having unprotected sex will produce a pregnancy. That is how it happens.
I could consult my Magic 8 ball but I would suggest the pregnancy test.
stepping up on my feminist soapbox. do you know what women in this country have historically endured just to have access to birth control and command their lives through PLANNING their families? If this is for real, it is uncomprehensible that you would risk the possibility of bringing a life into this world when it's clearly questionable that you could actually care for it properly. Go get a pregnancy test, while you're at it, buy some condoms, and make an appointment with the doctor that dx your ovarian cysts and get a prescription for the pill or some other reliable form of birth control. i recommend using both for pregnancy and STD protection.
How timely...I was just about to post one of these as a joke as I think we've gone around a week without an "...could I be pregnant" or "Am I pregnant".
Well, have you tried a pregnancy test? That's the first thing. You sound like you aren't trying to get pregnant. If you aren't trying, why are you having unprotected sex? You're not married. Plus, you have ovarian cysts. I've had the kind that had to be surgically removed AND the bursting kind. NO WAY would I want to be getting pregnant dealing with ovarian cysts. You aren't being very responsible with your body by having unprotected sex with ovarian cysts.
Start being responsible. No more sex without plenty of protection. You have a diagnosis. Find out what needs to be done. Is your GYN waiting to see if they will burst? Does he or she say they need to be taken out? If they burst, you will KNOW, because it hurts up there with childbirth and kidney stones. Enough for you to be calling an ambulance if you don't know you have one. At least you know about your cysts. You had better hope you're not pregnant.
Ovarian cysts don't necessarily keep you from ovulating, in fact you can ask my sister-in-law and her twins because her ovarian cysts meant every other month she ovulated out of EACH ovary at the same time.
So if you are having unprotected sex you could be pregnant.
However, 2 weeks along is REALLY early..... really you have just ovulated and possibly just implanted (since once you become pregnant, you go back and "count" from the 1st day of your last period).
If you mean you think you would have ovulated 2 weeks ago (which would put implantation last week or so) then you might be far enough along to show on a test.
Either way you need to take a test or go to your Dr for a blood test.
Then, if you are NOT pregnant and since you were "worried" you want to talk to your Dr about birth control.
Take a pregnancy test.
Or call your OBGYN.
Go to Walmart or any drug store and buy a pregnancy test. Or go see your doctor and ask for a pregnancy test. If you think you may be pregnant do not do drugs or drink. If you don't want to be pregnant, ask your doctor for birth control.
Wow, one simple question and everybody jumps all over you with there opinions. Those are the first symptoms. So good chance you are. I agree with peeing on a stick. Quick easy and you can go from there. Goodluck!
sounds like the rabbit died, morning sickness is the first sign of pregnancy, buy a home pregnancy test. K. h.
