Is This Feeling Normal After Sex?

So I am not sure if this is normal or not and I already went to see a doctor and have a scheduled ultrasound to look around but just wanted to ask for peace of mind. Basically, my husband and I have been having protected sex with a condom for awhile now. However, recently we decided we would start phasing that out and only using protection around ovulation time to not prevent as much. After the first few times of unprotected sex I have a heavy feeling in my lower abdomen. It is pretty strange because I dont remember this happening when we conceived our daughter. As I said, I have an appointment for an ultrasound and had my yearly appointment too. Has anyone else experienced this before? O and btw, we decided on this route the day after my period ended so we have had unprotected sex about a few times all in that same week. Any opinions/advice?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Im sorry if I was confusing. We are not really actively trying or anything. We just dont really mind if we do get pregnant. We will still use condoms sometimes, at least thats out plan, but not all the time. Basically what happened is that my period ended and the next we had unprotected sex and the following days we did. And that heavy feeling in my uterus never happened with a condom so I didnt know what was going on. But thats what I mean by not really preventing as much. Since this feeling has never happened before I just wondered what it could be. Its only been about 7 days since my period ended, hence the confusion and the lack of thinking I could actually be pregnant. Thank you for the responses!

I am confused are you trying to get preggo without really trying?? Having sex the week after your period is an excellent way to get preggo-----but the feeling you get after intercourse, yes--normal.

Not sure...but just curious about your approach of not preventing "as much". Is it that you more or less WANT to get pregnant, but just want to be able to say you weren't "trying"? Having unprotected sex the week after your period is a pretty good way to get pregnant!

About the heavy feeling...maybe you have had some hormonal imbalance, or something to that effect. Not really sure, good luck.
