S.Q.
Yes, I did. Six months after I gave birth to my first child, two weeks after I cut down on breastfeeding.
I know, I know... If you have sex there is a possibility that you are pregnant, but hear me out.
I am on the depo shot and have not gotten my period in months because of it. I had sex about 2 weeks ago, and am now starting to notice some symptoms of pregnancy (Having to pee more often than usual, a little bit of nausea, lack of concentration (Which for me is bad, because I already have trouble concentrating. Lol), and a brownish discharge. This is exactly how I felt with my first pregnancy.
But I thought that you had to be getting your period to get pregnant. I'm going to buy a test and take it tomorrow morning, but i'm just wondering... If it even possible?
Yes, I did. Six months after I gave birth to my first child, two weeks after I cut down on breastfeeding.
Yes. As long as you're ovulating, you can get pregnant.
However, on depo, it's highly unlikely. You said you've not had your period in months, which would indicate to me you've been on it a while.
Did you miss any shots?
I sometimes would get pregnancy symptoms while on depo - it was just hormones. I would be willing to bet it's just a wacky hormonal time for you and your body is actually gearing up like it's going to have a period, but won't.
Oh - BTW, depo mimicks pregnancy for your body so it won't ovulate. So it's not uncommon to get what feels like pregnancy symptoms while on depo.
Yes, you can still ovulate without having a period..and so yes then you can still get pregnant.
Yes, ask anyone who got pregnant while breastfeeding.
.
Yes. You can still ovulate without a period.
Getting your period is only a sign that you ovulated. If you ovulated and then got pregnant, you wouldn't get your period.
One of my sisters-in-law hadn't had her period in years. A year ago she realized she felt different than she normally felt, and a friend suggested she take a pregnancy test. She'd been told it was impossible, she was infertile. For the first time in God knows how long, she ovulated and thank God she had sex because she was pregnant. She never would have guessed because she wasn't having periods to begin with.
Anyway. If you're due for a shot, or due for one soon, you might want to take an HPT or get a blood test from your doctor. It couldn't hurt.
Of course. I do think 2 weeks is too early to be having pregnancy symptoms, though.
yes, it is possible. good luck...whichever way you are hoping!
I have a period like 2 times a year and this is my third pregnancy that occurred during one of the times i was not bleeding regularly. For me it certainly happens.
