well duh if you dont use birth control you could get pg! sounds like you may be. or your period could just be getting back in line since depo messes with your body so bad
I had my son in September of last year. I had the Depo shot in January of 2010. I did not go and get the second shot bc I did not like how it changed me emotionally and physically. I had a heavy period in March. I did not have but one day of bleeding in Early April. I have not used any backup method for bc nor used condoms. I have not had a perios since. I am bow experiencing what may be implantation bleeding but I am not sure if it is just my period trying to come on or what. I have noticed some sensitivity in my niples and have a change of eating habit and feel dizzy most of the time. I took a hpt last thursday but it was negative. I am waiting another wek to take it again to make sure. I just want to know if it is true u are more likely to get pregnant after the depo if you never got the second shot. Im kinda worried bc right now is not the best time for me to concieve. I have a 7 month old and its already just begun. So my question is...is it possible tht i am pregnant and it may b too early to tell?

I used the depo for a year and hated it. Turns out I can not take birth control. But moving on. My cycles jumped started as soon as I stopped getting the shot. My OB told me that I could get pregnant the first time I ovulated after stopping the shot. The only way to not get pregnant that is 100% is not having sex at all. I got pregnant using condoms. Also some ladies use birth control to get a boost for getting pregnant. So if you are worried you may want to go see your doctor.
There is no 'magical' date after you stop Depo that your period comes back, so you may or may not be pregnant. Sore nipples could just as easily be a sign of getting your period. If I were a betting person, I 'd guess you were not, but you just never know...
With all due respect, if you do not want to be pregnant, take some control over your situation and actively try NOT to. When it comes to pregnancy, inaction is the same as actively trying to get pregnant.
Yes you can when you have sex without protection pregnancy can happen.Even with a bc method that was used prior it's been 3 or so months since the Depo was received it's no longer protecting you from conceiving. You may be late if your not reg.plus if you are breastfeding periods have the tendency to alter during the months. All you can do is retest
