She could have bruised her private area. Try some childrens motrin and see if it helps. I would say if she is still in pain Sunday night then make an appointment to see the doctor on Monday. Good luck. I hope she feel better.
Yesterday, my daughter (3) was climbing around in my moms car while they were waiting to pick up her sister from school. Somehow she fell and hurt her private area. My mom didn't see exactly what happened as she was facing forward in the front of seat, but heard the cry and was told that she hurt it on a seat belt. So anyway somehow she hurt it. Later that day, she had to use the restroom and when she went to go said it hurt and for the rest of the time my mom said she would only go a drop one of the times she tried. I got home after 5 and she did finally go for me and even told me it didn't hurt. So we went on with our night, thinking although she probably did hurt it, she was over it being hurt when going potty. However, my MIL watches her today and called to ask what was wrong with her. I asked what do you mean, (forgetting that she was hurt) and she explained she is dancing around having to use the potty but says it hurts. So I had to explain what happened.
Anyone ever had something similar happen. Should I take her into the Dr, is there anything he can do? Or should I wait it out? And if I do, is there anything that could help with the pain?
Thank you all for the help. I called at lunch and she has been finally using the bathroom. Love the advice on the cup/squeeze bottle of warm water didn't even think of that! I think I'll wait and see how the weekend goes, if she is still complaining by Sunday, I will DEFINITELY bring her to the Dr. Monday morning. And I figure worst case scenario we have an urgent care here that I can take her to over the weekend.
ADDED:
Thanks for the advice everyone. She was fine by Friday night and had no issues over the weekend. (But of course now I'm having other issues with my other daughter, isn't that how life works?)

I'd do my best to have MIL calm her down so she can relax and go potty (like what you did) and see if she's just afraid of it hurting rather then it really hurting. If she just can't seem to relax to go and/or is still having a lot of pain it wouldn't hurt to take her to the doctor.
I would take her to the doc, right now. You don't know if this is a UTI or if she really did bruise it. She's too young to properly explain the pain right now.
I'll tell you though, I got hit in 'the lady' with a baseball when I was 5, and OMG worse throw up white hot blinding pain ever. I dropped like a dude would have if he had just gotten kicked in the jewels. My mom took me to the doctor 2 days later and they had me taking tylenol for the pain and I had to put an ice pack on it! NOT glamorous, but I remember it feeling better ;)
I would try to take her in, just to make sure. Better to be safe than sorry!
But I do remember when I was younger, I hit the front brakes on my bike and of course got thrown forward... I landed on my lady right on the handlebar hinge... OUCH!!! It actually made me bleed. I never did anything for it... and I never had any issues beyond the pain.
I fell on my trike when I was about 3 or 4 and the handle bar injured my pee pee somehow. My mom said I was sore for a couple of days. Do you see anything when you examine the area? I'm not sure it's worth a doc visit, not sure what they could do unless she tore something. I'd look at it and if you dont see anything, a few warm baths in some epsom salts might do the trick.
