I'm Sorry

Good morning Mommas...just wanted to apologize for my posts yesterday. I'm really not an argumentative person. But a response to a question yesterday got me a little heated. The question had nothing to do with a relationship but she mentioned they lived together and someone asked when they were getting married and then that she was not showing her daughter the right way to live. IMO, that really has nothing to do with anything unless she is going from guy to guy to guy.
Once again - I'm sorry...have a great day everyone!
Since I have to ask a question....how's the weather where you are? It's rainy and ugly here.

What can I do next?

The unasked tangential life directions are just a fact of life around here.

Dig back a few months and theres a thread from an unmarried woman about health insurance - woooweeee you'd a thought marriage cures cancer!

You were doing pretty good, but you might start thinking of other topics. Some good tangential life directing questions might include:

Gay marriage - how many straight divorces has it caused?

If god meant marriage to be for family creation, should we auto-divorce people married over 10 years with no kids?

Why don't we stone people anymore?

If we are a Christian/God fearing nation, how come "God told me to do it" isn't a valid defense?

I didn't reply to your questions yesterday.

DO NOT APOLOGIZE!!! You asked questions. They were valid. If people said something that was mean - ignore them. Be like a duck and let it roll off your back.

Some people on here can be REALLY mean and nasty. However, there are some WONDERFUL women on this site who give GREAT advice!!!

We have some sarcastic women as well - I can be (not as much as I'd like!!) but sometimes their sarcasm is taken as meanness and it's not mean.

As to your question - the weather here is frightful!! It's March 15th and it's going to be 80 degrees in Washington, D.C.!!!

I guess I missed your posts yesterday – a long workday for me. But I want to express my admiration for your willingness to apologize. That's something we tend to demand from our children, but very few adults will give an honest, humble apology. Really, it's one of the more difficult things for most grownups to do.

So a bouquet to you, A.. Thanks for being a good example. Of course you were sensitive to some of the comments you read, considering your living arrangements. That kind of sensitivity tends to elicit quick, and not always thought-out, reactions. So thank goodness for The Apology!

Oh, and the weather here in northern Oregon is wet and blustery today, but not too cold.

It is blue skies and sunny here but chilly (about 50)... we have rain coming this weekend though (boo!!) Looks like we will get our 65s and 70s back next week. We have been so lucky with the weather this year (even more than usual, I think)... I laid out by my pool yesterday!!

It's BEAUTIFUL here!

I missed all the "living together" drama yesterday, I guess.

The thing IS, if it's right for you, then it's OK, right? :)

Unmarried men can & do leave at the drop of a hat, as can non-married men in committed relationships.

If a man treats you & the children with love & respect--that's what matters most, right?

When you ask a question, you have to be ready for all kinds of responses. Everyone has their own opinion and are allowed to have it.

Right now at 10am its 65 degrees and it is supposed to hit 86. Yuck, way too hot for me but considering summer is coming and it will be 115, I shouldn't start complaining already! Lol!!!
