We used Walmart suprizingly and it was such a great cake and only $45.00. I was very happy w/ the results and everyone commented on it and asked what bakery I got it at.
Delicious Cakes in Addison off of Inwood and Beltline is AWESOME which I used for my wedding a couple of yrs ago and which everyone commented how wonderful it was and how beautiful it looked.

Bluebonnet bakery, I think it's on Camp Bowie...YUMMM They have a black forest cake that is unlike anything you've ever tasted.
Mugs Bakery in Roanoke makes great cakes!
With it being such short notice I would try the bakery at Kroger, Albertson's, or Sam's club. They do wedding cakes. I'm sure they can do something in short notice and it shouldn't cost too much! Hope this helps.

Another good place is called Creative Memories. I'm not sure what the cost of a wedding cake would be but they have delicious cakes! They are in Hurst.
