Hello everyone! I have been on here before and have had some awesome advice, so now I am back!
Ok, so my husband and I have been trying to concieve since September of 2009. So far no luck. But I am a little concerned now. My last period was March 28th and my period before that was Feb 21st. I am not always regular. BUT I am usually within a few days of it. This time, my period started on May 7th and it was really light. I didnt have the bad cramping like I normally always do. I usually last for the full 7 days and have to use a super absorbancy tampon. This time I did not. I started on the 7th, and it ended on the 9th. but for the next day or two i had really light spotting. I tried to use a light day tampon, but it was not worth it. So i just used a pad. For the past few days I have had a major headache that just wont seem to go away. I am so exhausted (which about a week and a half before I start I am always so tired but rare after period). I have no energy to even clean my house! My poor daughter has been helping me more then usual because I have no energy to even get off the couch! I have to force myself everyday to just get out of bed. I have not noticed any food cravings. I do eat a little more and get irritated that I get hungry! I have woken up a few times this week with my hands and feet have been a little puffy. On the 12th (yesterday) I went to the restroom (and yea, I would say I go a little more often now that I think of it) and when I wiped there was nothing, but when I glanced back at the potty I noticed two small clots. They were not bloody like I would normally get when I was on my period. They were just small brown pieces of something. Which I am 100% sure they came from me cause I always look at the toilet before I sit down. Now today, I am cramping and bloated as if I am about to start my period again! Still have a headache (went away today for about 3 hours) and oh so ever tired! Now, I started to freak out thinking that it could be something totally different, like my hormones but when I typed in to search it, i came to a pregnancy website. Is it possible that I might actually be pregnant? Or is something else wrong? I want to take a pregnancy test but I have kind of gotten tired of all the negative results. Not really in the mood for the disappointment. Yes, i have been moody! IF i was pregnant, then I could be maybe 3 weeks along, and that is going by when my husband came back in town. I am sorry this is so long but can someone please give me some advice?

Thanks for your Reply!

So What Happened?

Again, thanks for all the comments and I welcome them all!!! Well last night I PASSED out (again talking about how freakin tired I have been!) and fell asleep with my bra on... which I rarely do cause I hate sleeping with one on. Well I woke up this morning had some coffee then started to get ready for a shower. I took my bra off and my breasts kind of hurt. I thought this was odd... So I am going to wait till I go to bed tonight and see if they are still tendar when I take the bra off. They feel like they are a little tender now but not really. I did not test positive with my daugther till I was like 8 weeks along. I really do hope this means I am pregnant. I did not take a test this morning. I was going to wait till I get a few more symptoms. Oh and the comment about a pregnancy test from the dollar store, i NEVER thought of that!!! I went online and checked that out, and found the walmart brand is actually one of the best but the dollar store ones do their purpose too!!! Which excited me! :) But did read something about not buying the blue dye ones, because they are notorius for the false positives... I can not express how grateful I am I found this website!! Thanks so much ladies for all the comments!!!

Get a pregnancy test, take it first thing in the morning when you get up.
No need to get the ones that cost $10.00. Get them from The Dollar Tree for $1.00 each. Or The Dollar General for $4.00 each.

If you get them cheap you can get several of them and take as many as you want until you hear yes.

I wish you the best.

This could be absolutely nothing, it could be something or it could be something wrong. Take a test and if the odd bleeding continues, see your OB as soon as possible. Good luck!

I think you really should get a good check-up. Guessing can really drive you crazy and we aren't Drs.

Take care and wish you success!

It is possible you are pregnant and the egg just attached on May 7th, causing some light bleeding, not as much as a full period. Are your breasts sore? That was always a for sure sign for me. Good luck!

Your symptoms sound pretty similar to the ones I had when I got pregnant. I got a SUPER light period that lasted about 3 days and never needed a tampon. I was so tired I could barely move, let alone take care of my toddler. I was peeing more often.

I know all the negative tests can be really depressing, but I think you should take one just in case. For me, the test was negative at first, but I waited another week and then it was positive. I think my hormones were just slower to register.

This sounds very familiar to me. Please bring a copy of your post when you visit the OB. There are observations you made which could be good clues to the doctor.

I went through a nasty time when we were trying to get pregnant and the first few weeks are a strain. I don't believe a regular pregnancy test will test well until you are at least 7 or 8 weeks along. I may be wrong on that but I wanted to point that out if you decide to test this weekend. Don't give up right away.

I'm sure we are all rooting for you! Good luck!

This is MY experience. I had a regular period on January 2nd. I had another period (or so I thought) on January 22nd which lasted only 2-3 days and was super light. I chalked it up to my best girl friend coming to visit us and stayed for a week. I blamed her for throwing my cycle off and we laughed about it. February came and went, no period. March, nothing. Can you believe that it wasn't until March 2nd rolled around that I started to wonder what was going on?! Long story somewhat short, I am 16 weeks pregnant with #2. Your situation sounds soooo much like mine (maybe you just ovulated a little sooner than I did) that it is time for you to test, so do it tomorrow. Do you think you can hold your pee and go to the store and get a test? lol, just a thought. That 1st morning urine is just so much better to test with, Id hate you to have to wait a whole other day...PM me if you get a positive!!! Good luck!!!

The SAME thing happened to me a couple of months ago. I was sure I had to be pregnant! My period was 2 weeks late and I had all of the symptoms with negative tests. I spotted for a few days (finally!) and then a week later, spotted for a few more days. So, I have no idea when I'm supposed to start again. I guess it was a freaky hormone issue.
