I am the only one awake and I'm not cooking anything, we're going out to eat. So my day is wonderful.
My son sang some song about 10 turkeys in a tree and was subtracting and adding them, getting the right answers (which was cool since he's only 5). He got down to 2, who flew out of the tree and were eaten by a shark - the end!

My daughter sings too, but she is tone deaf, can't sing on tune for the life of her. OMG. But its cute. And she is so happy when she is singing and off tune. She "thinks" she can sing. Oh well.

And my Hubby took the kids OUT this morning! Yee ha! Some quiet for me!
My cousin cooks the feast. So glad. I just bring a pot luck dish over.

This is the first time in 25 years I have not prepared an entire Thanksgiving dinner for my family of 3.
This year we are going to the country club Thanksgiving feast by request of our daughter.
I am having withdrawals... I LOVE preparing the Thanksgiving feast but I also LOVE having a kitchen that will stay clean all day!! Just waiting on my mimosa at 11:30 now

Yes! My overtired almost 3 year old is still sleeping! He needed a good 12 plus snooze, and he is getting it! Now if only I could get my 4.5 year old to stop getting out of bed at night ;-)
