I had it done twice. The first time was a breeze even though I had fibroids. They tried to do it a second time because I was spotting. The second time was a horrible experince. A 10 minute procedure took 2 hours and they were still unable to do it. I never actually found out why. I will say it was worth it the first time though. No more heavy periods. I use to have to carry extra clothing with me where ever I would go. I would try not to leave the house. Now I have no problems.

My mom had it done last month, she was literally going through hell before having it done and now is so thankful she did it! As with anything there can be complications or side effects, but I know she is happier than can be! and has found a piece of mind.

I didn't have it done, but one of my best friends did. She said it was a piece of cake, and she was shopping later in the day. Also, no more periods. She thinks it's the best thing she ever did. I also had problems internally, and was going to have it, but I had fibroids and my doctor told me it wouldn't work as well for me because the fibroids would screw up the surgery since the uterine wall would be "lumpy" and not smooth. So make sure you don't have that issue before you have it done. I guess it doesn't work as well. I ended up having a hysterectomy instead. And that was the best thing I have ever done for me. Do something if you are having problems. No need to suffer!

I had it done last May. The surgery itself was easy. I was up and about the next day. I still get my periods, but they are a lot lighter and shorter than before surgery. That's all that matters to me.
