My oh-so-creative 2 year old left her mark - purple crayon to be specific - all over my white laminate cabinets and glass oven door. Any suggestions for successful removal?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

It turns out the Crayola website has crayon removal tips. WD-40 will take crayon off of any hard surface with ease!

Goo-Gone is also great for taking all kinds of things off.

I have always had great success with the Magic Eraser.

I understand where your coming from I have 2 girls that were creative at one time and still are by accident sometimes. At any rate I found a really great health and wellness company that I buy from on-line and they have this product that gets all types of crayon, permanent marker, paint etc out of carpet, tile, lamenant shelving and lap top computer screens without damaging or scratching the surface.

Good luck on your search.

The glass should just scrape off with your fingernails or a spatula. Try doing it very cold vs very hot. Then just follow up with glass cleaner. If this approach doesn't work I would go the opposite and boil water and scrub with a saturated cloth. FYI for carpet with wax in it you can take an iron over newsprint and lightly heat until wax melts. Move the paper to clean spot once wax melts onto it. I don't know if this would be good for cabinets, but it's another thought. A hair dryer may be better for cabinets. Good luck.
