hi moms! does anyone knows how to get rid of a gum's stain in a dryer? coz i didnt know that i have a chewing gum wrap in a paper in the pocket of my jeans, and i just threw it in the washer and dryer, too late to find out that there's a gum, and it had stain the wall inside the dryer. anybody knows how to get rid of it? my husband said i can use alcohol, i tried that but it's not helping that much! thanks in advance!

I know this is weird, but I got gum out of a dryer with a wet dryer sheet. I googled "how to get gum out of a dryer" and it was the first thing that came up. It took some elbow grease but worked like a charm.

I would suggest Goo Gone, it's great for a lot of sticky things.

Thanks Mommy S. I'll have to remember that.

My husband has been known to help with the laundry.... and he doesn't check pockets (notably, his own). He has washed and dried clothes with gum in them several times. I just used elbow grease (or made him). Next time (cause I'm sure there will be one) I will reach for the wet dryer sheet (or suggest it to him).

Try Lemon Essential oil first since it is all natural. If that doesn't work, try Goof Off.
