Even if it's not a "dry clean only" bedspread, take it to a dry cleaner and ask if they can handle it. They have seen everything and dealt with everything. Unfortunately I suspect that your bedspread may be finished, since nail polish is very, very difficult to remove, even if a professional is doing it. If the dry cleaner can't do it, I'd get a new bedspread and lock up the nail polish. Good luck.

I had to ask this on Mamapedia about a year ago. I used De-Solve-It. I rubbed it out for about 45 minutes but it came out and didn't discolor my ottoman. Good luck!

Ugh. Good luck and God bless you!

My son got RED polish on O. of our sheet sets two years ago and it's STILL there....just as bright as ever. :(

But for a bedspread, I might ask a dry cleaner.

My granddaughter got nail polish on a cotton bathroom rug. It's still there. My daughter couldn't find any way to get it out and she tried several ways.
