How to Get Fingernail Polish Out of Clothing??

My daughter just got into some nail polish over the weekend...and yes, it got all over the front of her clothes. I believe they are just cotton, or a cotton blend. I tried nail polish remover but it didn't really get that much out. Any ideas??

What can I do next?

Don't use anymore finger nail polish remover. It can bleach the clothes. I have had really good luck with cheap hair spray like aqua net or bug spray. The alcohol in them seem to do the trick, but does take lots of scrubbing.

K., try some turpentine, that might work, but be careful on the colors. Try a little on the back of a hem or seam of some type. Good luck.

This happened to me except it was on my brand new white bedding I just put on my bed.

Do NOT use nail polish remover.

Try vinegar but blot it, keep doing this on the inside too. It won't get it all the way out but works pretty good.

I googgled this when it happened to me, asked people in the cleaning field, and asked others and NOTHING totally takes it out.

Hopefully the outfit wasn't too expensive, my bedding cost well over $200. I eventually bought another one so it matched my other things.
