I live in H. V. and just love it. I am in the older part so I have 30+ year old trees My son is at McAuliffe. You can not go wrong with any of the 3 schools that are here. I only have info about McAuliffe but I have friends with kiddos at the other 2 schools.

We live in HV and we absolutley love it here. It was rated the #1 safest community in North Texas. The schools here are wonderful and it is close to everything...shopping, dining, etc. I have lived in lots of cities and HV is my favorite by far.

We have lived in highland village for almost 5 years . I taught at Highlnad village ELem. and when it started to get close to time to send my kids to school we moved so they could goto HVE. I stopeed teaching but loved the school so thats what we decided. Its nice and quiet and big trees and big lots. We live in the "old" part, but if you can look past most of these houses need a touch of remodeling than its great.

We live in Highland Village. My girls go to Heritage Elementary and I'm happy with the school. One is in Kindergarten and the other is in 1st grade, so we are still sort of new to school, but so far it's going great. It received the highest rating and it is also the largest of the 3 schools. McAuliffe also has the highest rating. All 3 Elementary schools feed into Briarhill Middle School. The schools are part of LISD(Lewisville ISD) and the website is lisd.net. If your friend has any specific questions, let me know.

We used to live in Lewisville and moved to Highland Village about 3 years ago. I was a teacher at Briarhill Middle School for 3 years and at Downing Middle School for 2 years. I'm now a stay at home mom. We love Highland Village. It is very safe and has a community feel. The schools are wonderful. My mom teaches at Highland Village Elementary and my kids will eventually go to McAuliffe.
