Did you ask what that ment or if it could cause problems? I have not had high lvls mine are low. She gave me suplements and then told me to go out in the sun more.
Hello,
I just received my annual bloodwork back from my doctor and everything was within range except my vitamin d, which was high! Higher than normal and much higher than mine usually is. I took one supplement the week of my blood test and one prenatal vitamin but I cannot imagine that made the difference!! Has anyone experienced this?

Most of the supplements you buy at the supermarket or at the vitamin store are not high quality (even if they are high price). It's very difficult to achieve balanced blood work by taking individual supplements. And taking something once a week makes no sense - you wind up megadosing and hoping it will last all week. That's not what food science tells us.
Are you taking prenatal vitamins because you are pregnant, or because you have some left over? There is comprehensive nutritional supplementation available that is safe for pregnant women. I just wonder if you are pregnant and if hormone levels are out of whack right now. Happy to help but I need more info.
Nope, I haven't experience this, nor do I think it's anything to be concerned with. Having high vitamin D levels now does not mean that you will tomorrow.
Vitamin D toxicity occurs at levels that are ridiculously difficult to maintain, and it can only occur over a long period of time. Like vitamin C, vitamin D is water soluable and removed from your body each and every day.
Since magnesium and vitamin D work hand in hand, I would recommend determining whether or not you have a magnesium deficiency. Correcting that will in turn correct your vitamin D levels.
Best!

Did your lab test for D2, D3 or Total D? There are different methods of testing and like Christy Lee said, it is very difficult to maintain elevated levels. I would probably rerun it but I work for a laboratory and don't pay for lab tests.
