Even though the test said negative, you could be. Wait util you miss a period, then take a test. False negatives happen a lot. Even though the tests say they can tell you five days before a missed period,

Until then, act as if you are. You may not be but it can not hurt to be careful (alcohol, caffeine etc.)

Home pregnancy tests can give false positives and negatives. If the at home tests do not give the result you think is correct, the OBGYN will generally test you after you are late. I think around 3 weeks late, the tests definitely show accurate results at the doctor's office.

I felt the same way. I took 3 HPT...2 AFTER my missed period and they all came back negative. I just knew I was pregnant, so I contacted my Dr. He said it was not likely with so many negative tests, but to com ein for a blood test just to be sure. It turns out that I am pregnant (and about a week farther along than my missed period would indicate). My doctor is baffled by all the negative test results, but it can happen. I would wait until you miss a period and try again.

Its possible! I had a neg. test and one month later took another and it was positive. And at that point I was 10 wks preg. and didn't know it so I was preg. on the neg. test. Or either the test was wrong, I did it wrong who knows. . You know your body better than anyone. I just had the "feeling" they say some women have. My friend always comes up neg. on home test.They have to do a blood test to get her positive for all 3 of her pregnancy. Urine test for her only come up negative. Good Luck and congrats.

I took tests 1 and 3 days after my missed period and got negative results. I waited 2 days more and finally got a positive test. So, it's possible that you could be pregnant.

I had 3 false negatives when I was pregnant. I was actually a little over a month along when I took the tests, so it could be your hormone levels are not high enough to register on the OTC test. I'd suggest a trip to the Dr. for a blood test. Good luck!

Hello, I was sure I was pregnant, I wanted to be pregnant I got fairly big for four months so at my fourth month with missed periods and also wearing maternity clothes I went to the Dr.only to find out it was a false Pg.. My Dr. said that sometimes we can make ourselves believe this way because we want a baby so bad and after he told me that I actually went down to my regular size. Then after that and a miss carriage (we already had a beautiful daughter age 8 1/2 years) my doctor said I could not have any more babies because of my female conditions. Well, I did get pregnant for our son, which I had to have 17 shots to help me carry him, and what a big surprise almost three years later we had another son. My doctor was amazed when his nurse called me at four months and said yes you are going to be parents again. Nice surprise. So you could possibly be pregnant but that is just a chance and you may not be. Good Luck whichever way you want it to be.

it takes a while for the pregnancy hormone to show up in urine... so it's possible. wait a week or so and you will know ;)

When I was pregnant with my daughter I took two pregnancy test that said I wasn't pregnant, when I actually was. Be sure to test first thing in the morning and sometimes if you drink a lot of water it can dilute your pee, especially if it is really early on in your pregnancy. Good luck!!
