I will soon be undergoing the essure procedure and though I've read about it, watched an online video and spoken to my doctor, I've only met one other mom who's had it done. She told me about her experience, but it was atypical, as she had some other complications involved and so her recovery was rather lengthy. I'm wondering if anyone out there has had the essure and how your recovery was (length of time to take pain meds, cramping severity, etc.). Thanks!
One of my close friends had Essure done and she said that if she had kids to take care of during that time it would have made the recovery a lot more difficult.
For what it's worth, it sounds like with three pregnancies behind you, it's your husband's turn to get things taken care of. :)
One of my friends had this procedure and has recommended it to me (I'm still in debate with my husband about it.). She said it was simple and didn't taker her long to recover, not much pain. She's very happy about her decision.

I know you posted this months ago so I'm wondering... did you have the procedure done? Would you be willing to share your experience? I am scheduled to have it done in two weeks and I'm feeling like I am in the same boat you were in months ago. Sounds like the right choice for me but I don't actually know anyone who has had this done & so I feel like I don't really know what to expect and with all the meds my dr said I will need to take before I Igo in I'm beginning to worry this is going to be a painful process. Any info you could share would be great thanks.
