It's my dd's 4th bday today and she is SOOO excited. We are making it a girly day and getting her hair trimmed and nails painted then lunch with the girls and then on to Chuckie Cheese this evening with her little friends.
She also shares her bday with Dr. Seuss. So - anyone else having a special day or know of any other special things going on today?
I always tell mine a special story about their birthday. Like who was there, what we thought about them when we first saw them and I do little imitations of them as a baby - lol! my boys LOVE it and it makes them feel extra special that we remember these little details of their actual birth day each year.

Our school has been celebrating for a week! Today was Cat In The Hat day and they were asked to "wear black, white and red" today. Some kids go all out and dress as the Cat in the Hat.

My daughter's preschool is celebrating Dr. Seuss this whole week and they are reading lots of his books. I know that Target stores had Dr. Seuss storytime last Saturday and our local Borders and Barnes & Noble are doing special events this Saturday.
Happy Birthday!! That's what we did for my DD when she turned 4! Have fun. :)
My girls are excited about Dr. Suess Day at school, what an AWESOME birthday to share!! (They serve green eggs and ham for breakfast at school which has them over the moon excited, even though my 5 year old is allergic to eggs, LOL)
