I apprecaite what he did but I'm not a fan. For some reason I've always found the stuff a little too trippy for me.
I will sit thru "The Lorax" next week with my son. As long as Jim Carrey isn't in it I should be okay.
What was I afraid of?
It's one of the stories found in the Sneetches book. About the pale green pants with nobody inside 'em. My son loves it too. I guess we like the dark stuff :)
My grandmother also had one called "You're Only Old Once" that is absolutely hilarious. One of the few written for the older set :)
I love them all! Happy birthday to YOU Cheryl :)
Oh The Places You'll GO.....
I love that book!
Mr. Brown Can Moo Can you?
I love making the noises "Splatt, Splatt, Splatt, crack crack crack"..."whisper whisper"...
So much fun to read.
How The Grinch Stole Christmas!
Yertle the turtle is my fav.
Tho' I do have a thing for Thing one and thing Two.
I have two: Fox in Socks and The Lorax. FiS is just so fun to read. I like The Lorax not just for the story but because it was my dad's favorite book to read to me. I still have my childhood copy and read it to my kids.
That is a really hard one. My favorites are: I Can Read with My Eyes Shut, The Lorax, and the Cat in the Hat. Oh yes, I also love If Mr Brown Can Moo, you You. That is a great book for toddlers!
I have two. As a kid, I loved The Sneetches. As an adult, I love Oh, The Places You'll Go. But really, I like all of them. :)
Oh the Places You'll Go!
Happy B-day! It's my b-day too! :)
"Go Dog, Go!!! I love it and son did too!
"I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them Sam I am" Haha! That's my favorite one!
Green Eggs and Ham for my son he is addicted to Go Dogs Go right now, but he is 5!
I like them all, but The Sneetches is by far my favorite. I know it by heart because I have read it to my children so many times. :)
Wacky Wednesday and The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins are my favorites. My son loves Fox in Sox and The Cat in the Hat.
I love Horton Hear's a Who!!! And my girls love Green Eggs and Ham!!
Happy Birthday Ladies!! Hope you have a great day!!
The lorax!..... Gonna go see it on Sunday, I'm very excited.
Green Eggs and Ham here, too, but we like Seuss overall. It's hard to pick. They all have charm.
I always loved One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish but my kids prefer Green Eggs and Ham
I really like Green Eggs and Ham (I do, I like it, truly, ma'am) - but my *real* favorite is the first Dr. Seuss book I ever read. It's not as well known, because it isn't in rhyme (so some Seuss-lovers might be disappointed), but the plot line is just as silly.
It's titled THE 500 HATS OF BARTHOLEMEW CUBBINS, and it's about a boy who gets into big trouble because when he tries to take his hat off before the king, another hat immediately appears on his head - time after time.
If I can remember, after all these years, a book I read in first grade, I must like it a lot! (And I found a copy after years of searching. But it's back in print now.)
I love "And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street" and "McElligot's Pool"
Always has and always will be Green Eggs and Ham :) That Sam I Am. They never get old.
Happy B-day to all! Have a great day.
Sneetches....quite the social commentary!
