My hair stylist recommends using a little olive oil on the ends for about an hour before shampooing.
I need to get a haircut but have not time until mid-December. Now that the heat is on, my hair is getting dry. I used to be able to buy a mud mask product at the most stores but found out they don't make it anymore. I need some kind of mud mask or similar for my hair that will help it "heal" a bit until I can actually go get it cut.
I have a great deep conditioner that usually does a good job but I need to take a step up. It has to be affordable too. Any recommends? Something I can buy at the store is preferred though a recipe would be great too. There is a Sally Beauty Supply near me if they have something.

Queen Helen Cholesterol Hair Conditioning Cream - it works great. Sally BS or any drugstore should have it, it costs around $3-5.
I haven't used this myself but do plan to after hearing about it from my friend. She uses regular olive oil on her hair and skin. Just a dab. It gets quickly absorbed. I hadn't seen her in a while and her hair and skin look great!!
You can either use pure coconut oil or olive oil and massage into your scalp and hair. If you can stand it, try going to bed with the stuff on and then wash it off in the morning. Generally, I can't stand to leave it on so long, so I only keep it on for an hour, then shampoo.
Good Luck
