Good Preschool - San Diego,CA

The co-op at the Unitarian Church in Hillcrest is supposed to be wonderful. My daughter goes to The Children's School in La Jolla which is toddlers-8th grade and love the school (progressive education.) Both encourage high parental involvement, which is, of course a large commitment. If you had specifics of what you are looking for, I could give you more details about pre-schools in the area: play focused? religious? high/low parental involvement? etc...

Canyon Rim Children's Center in Allied Gardens is wonderful!!!!! The teachers are amazing, patient and kind and kids thrive there. They have a good website if you google them. I know many happy parents (and their kids) that have gone there. Good Luck!

My little girl has been going to "Horizon Preschool" in claremont since Sept. 2009. We both love it. They actually have a cirriculum and are accredited. There is probably a waiting list but you should check it out! Good luck.

I also have heard wonderful things about the Co-op at the Uniterian Church in Hillcrest. Several of my friend's kid's went there and LOVED it!! My kid's went to a parent involvement preschool, but it starts at 3 years old.
