Good Motorized Ride-on Toy for 4 Year Old?

I'm thinking for Christmas, we might get our then 4 year old (turning 4 in Oct.) a power wheels type of toy. Actual power wheels are out of our price range though. The cheapy stuff looks way too small though. She's 40 lbs, and is very tall for her age. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

If you are willing to wait until closer to christmas, mattel opens an outlet store where they sell lots of toys and their power wheels. We got a four wheeler for my son that will easily get him throuhg to 6 years. Originally $300. We got it for $150! The mattel outlet is usually in richardson off of the 75 on the east side near the beltline exit... Hth!

I would look at reviews for different electric ride-ons. You can also sign up on zulily and see if they have a sale come up. Just 3 weeks ago they had the nice high quality electric cars for $120ish and there was a lambo lol. If it had been better timing my toddler may be riding in a little lambo right now haha.
I notice that a lot of the electric jeeps seem to have better reviews and be bigger in size. A girl around here has a barbie type jeep and it was a big size. I would get a 12-volt (not a 6 volt), they go a little faster and last longer.

Go to Traders Village. They have tons of them and she can sit on it so you can see which one suits her, then goback for it later when she isn't with you. We got my girl a Barbie Jeep and it was all the extras that made it cool for her. She loved that the radio really worked.
